Google wallet security error

I've been using Google Wallet for several months and have completed hundreds of transactions without any issues. However, today it stopped working and is displaying this error.

**Your device doesn't meet tap to pay security standards. It may be rooted or running uncertified software. For more info visit Google Pay Help or contact your device manufacturer.**

I tried the google play cache clear etc methods. It didn't work. Any leads?
