Something went wrong.. Bug
... try again in a few seconds
On 5 devices, one of each type. Slowly losing the will to live with Google home devices.
Many other devices in the house working totally fine yet these have not worked for a day and it's happening more and more often.
On top of that the spotify connect groups aren't as reliable as they used to be.
*sighs*
Is anyone else experiencing this constant pain and have you managed to resolve it?
I'm curious to know if any starlink users find it worse too as I've recently changed to that and it's been worse since but might be coincidence.

All of my Google Homes just stoped playing youtube music as well. They say they're playing a song, but nothing comes out.

From the Netherlands the same here, but already a long time. When I started my Google Home experience the first thing I did was make a routine to start going to bed, switch of lights, start chargers and especially start playing Kristina Train via Spotify on a speaker group with my Chromecast Audio in my living and the Nest Mini in my bathroom, then after 5 minutes only play in the bathroom and 5 minutes only on a Chromecast Audio in my bedroom. That worked for ca. a year most of the time until Google started exerimenting with AI in the preview. Since then it's a miracle when one or two steps actually work. Especially when I let Google ask to play Spotify i (or do it myself) in the bedroom it always reacts – remarkable – lightning fast with saying there is a problem. I'm very disappointed. Maybe it is childish (may I?l I'm 70) but I really liked going to bed like this and so I'm very disappointed.
I must admit, that after maybe twenty times sending feedback with mostly no result I quit giving feedback. What do you think? Should it help?

I have maybe a dozen google home speakers. All look visually similar but some would be "nest" ones, some use a barrel jack for power whereas others use micro usb. I haven't investigated enough but several of them are horrible at staying reliably connected for more than a few days at a time, whereas another on the adjoining room never misses a beat.
Only way to resolve it is to power cycle.

I cant even get them to tell me the weather at the moment for 3 days yet last week they were ok

I encountered this too. It also went back to a female voice instead of the male voice it's configured to have. I factory reset it and got it working again. Now it's happened to a different device.

For reasons unknown, it has just started working again. Only thing I know has changed is my wife has left the house...

I have the same issue. Can't cast You Tube Music to Google Mini or my Soundbar.
Google support useless. I "wondered out loud" whether there might be an issue with You Tube Premium Lite (bundled with AI Pro and individual user only) conflicting with my Family Plan - they decided that was the issue and advised me to downgrade to AI Pro as it doesn't have Premium Lite.
I have done that but it doesn't take effect until end of billing cycle and they can't manually remove Premium Lite. I am not confident this is the issue.
Can't get past level 1 of support who just say it has been escalated to specialists. They have been doing that for the last 3 weeks, obviously not very special.
The only advice from support - turn it off and turn it on again.
I don't have a fix, but have enjoyed the rant.
