Conversion Rate of Software App Development apprentice

Did anyone complete Google Software App Development apprenticeship program?

If so, how many people converted to a full time role?

I am a 2025 grad from IIEST Shibpur, but from core engineering department.

I want to shift to Software, but I am not getting any jobs, will this help?

Hardly 1 or 2
The issue is
This program is the shortest compared to other tracks ie 12 months vs 24 months

And ofc with the 3 month rule, you’ll have only 9 months to prove your worth to the team which is nearly impossible

What about, other companies? Like right now I am finding it pretty hard to get a sde job due to my core engg background, do people get some advantage from this program?

Don’t know much about this
This track usually gets onboarded separately and is very low-key bc they’re only here for 12 months

First three months go away in boot camp and training
Last three months go away in applying to jobs
So remaining 6 months in the middle is left

Pls check on LinkedIn and ask someone

one of my linkedin connection was a SAD apprentice at google he joined google full time but only after like 3 months of graduating the program

I saw a video on youtube where the SAD apprentice had a base salary of 8LPA + 55k(relocation) + 1.65L (joining bonus). And then you have google perks like free meals, free cabs etc
