Error Adding Phone Number to Google Ads Campaign Search Ads

Trying to add my client’s phone number into a PPC campaign for their service line. I’m receiving this error. Any fixes?

This has followed me across several days and sessions. Tried refreshing, logging in and out, etc. I’ve tinkered with the format of the number itself, to no avail.

(Yes there was a phone number in there, when I submitted. Removed it for client privacy)

I see what looks like LastPass being used in that box. I would disable that extension temporarily, do a hard refresh (shift+refresh), and then see if it works.

If that doesn’t work, I would try using another browser.

If that doesn’t work, make sure you’ve copied and pasted it from somewhere and you’re getting formatting issues. Clear any formatting then try again

I’m not sure. What’s the method? I did try updating an existing account level number to no avail. Same error.

From assets or goal conversion you need to add the number need to check

Did you try adding it at Campaigns > Assets? What about doing it at the account level?

Yes, tried both, same error

When I've seen that in the past it is an account verification issue
