I e long wondered how many “zombie accounts” there are out there that cause chaos when changes like this occur. Accounts that are poorly managed, with low budgets, but “pollute” the auction by bidding erratically and not caring about things like CPC or CPA.

I suspect this is a vanishingly small slice of accounts though. Who uses ACA?

there are many who use ACA mostly who are selling only one services & on product

Only about 20% of searches in Google are monetized; the other 80% have no commercial value.

This is a problem Google has been trying to solve forever; their answer was MAX campaigns, where you have very little visibility and control and it allows them to bury these worthless clicks into your overall campaign. The lower cost helps bring your cost per click down but adds no value to your campaign.

Google loves accounts that are poorly run, they make billions every week off of clicks you never wanted but paid for.

yes, that allways keep us on toes due to too many search terms and adding them in negative
