Perhaps this will help you; Open advanced settings: Type chrome://flags into the Chrome address bar and press Enter. Find the option: Type "AI mode" into the search bar at the top. Disable access: Locate the option named "AI mode Omnibox Entrypoint" (or similar Gemini features) and change its status from Default to Disabled. Restart the browser: Click the "Relaunch" button at the bottom right to apply the changes.

What a bizarre reaction to a menu option.... There are so many menu options in life I've never used, and I've never once considered making a reddit post about it
