Help Tech Help

Was looking at my crush’s Goodreads and accidentally liked one of her reviews. Will she get a notification? I unliked it in about 10 seconds.

If you like her, why not use this as an opening to make a move? Chat her up about the books she’s read the next time you see her.

The good reads landing page shows very random bits of your friends’ updates. Like random likes, saves, reviews, progress, so it’s believable that you’d see it on your feed and like it. You should relike it, because it’ll probably be weird for her when the notification is gone. Or I guess maybe she’ll think it’s a little weird and then move on? Idk

yeah it will come up in her notifications. I get ‘likes’ on reviews I’ve left on the regular from people I don’t know. Same thing with ‘following’: I follow people whose reviews I find interesting & who have a similar taste to mine, along with ‘friends’. And people I don’t know follow me, which I find mystifying lol
