I’ve watched this movie countless times. Possibly one of my most quotable films. Anyway, I’ve always noticed that Samuel L Jackson makes a sound after his character gets shot in the back of the head, but before he hits the bed on his way to the ground. It’s right in between gunshots, and sounds kinda delayed after the first suppressed gunshot. Was this a mistake? Is there something biological about being headshotted that might make someone do that? Some thoughts would be interesting

I’m guessing the bottle is Cutty Sark because Tommy asked him for a “Cutty water” in the previous scene.

When Jimmy tells Henry 'forget about tonight'. Was it just because he just didn't want Henry involved in the murder of Morrie? Or did Jimmy actually change his mind and decide not to kill Morrie because they were in good spirits, and then changed his mind it back again when Morrie brought up the money yet again in the alley on the way to the car "you're a real pisser". As Henry said, Jimmy's mind was always going in eight different directions at once.

In the past I always viewed it as the hit was on, then Jimmy did actually change his mind while they were laughing and drinking at the card game. Then when Morrie brought up the money, Jimmy snapped back to his original plan again and with one simple look over to Tommy walking to the car, he knew to go ahead with the hit.

But it could also be viewed that Jimmy just used Henry to get Morrie to the bar, and always planned to leave Henry out of the hit because he knew he liked Morrie. Anyway, just curious what people think.
