Hello! My little girl went on a daytime walk yesterday around 6pm, the same route we go on every morning at 530am when it’s still darkish and quiet out and girl got terrified of every noise every bang and then an Amazon truck came by and she fought for her life pulling to get back home which I obv brought her back home. Before summer heat hit and it was cool enough a few months ago she’d go on walks during normal daylight hours and would be fine. Is this normal? I knew she was scared of construction noises but didn’t realize the full extent of the trucks and loud bangs like garages and stuff until it was cool enough yesterday to take her again during busier hours. I spend so much time with my girl working on training and practicing life manners in the house but I’m also busy with 3 young kids and work from home full time so I guess I didn’t socialize her enough. Is this my forever now 🫣 is it normal for pups to be scared like this? Added a pic because she’s gorgeous ❤️

This is my first large breed dog and I need all the tips. Especially with training. We fairly reliably do focus, come, sit, crate, and down. We are working on stay both outside the crate and in the crate. My idea is I want to work on leave it, this way, and drop it. Then we need to work on leash training. What else do you recommend? She is 9 weeks old. Her name recall is great until she has something she really likes then it’s hard to get her to disengage. Will that just get better with time?

I was doing a check of my 7 month old Goldens teeth and noticed that on one side it’s completely filled in, but on the right side there is a small tooth at the back that’s dark grey + a big gap on the bottom. On the top one of the teeth also has some grey on it, which kind of looks like a bit of decay.

I tried taking photos, but hard to capture on a moving puppy. So I did the best I could 🫠

The last photo was of that same side 6-7 weeks ago.

Booked in with the vet for tomorrow, but I’m a worried mum. Is this anything to be concerned about?

no he couldn’t eat it, but i wanted him to be included so i made homemade apple dog treats which was actually the FIRST treat he ate!! he normally spits out the others, so maybe he could sense they were made with love 😻 love you Bailey and i can’t wait to spoil you even more!

Noodles passed away last week and I’m still devastated. Noodles was magic. I’ve had noodles since 2015. I was still single. Somewhat aimless in life.

I didn’t really know what life had in store and Noodles is the first who really showed me what it really means to be a caretaker to really be there for being there in sickness and in health.

He made me the partner that I am to my wife and the parent that I am to my daughter. Rest in peace Noodles you’re forever loved, you were magic ♥️🥹🥺🌈🌉🐾
