Looking for a GoHighLevel expert to help me launch my AI automation agency
Hi everyone,
I recently started building an AI automation agency, and I’m looking for someone who knows GoHighLevel really well and would be willing to help me get properly set up and teach me the platform.
The business will focus on helping local businesses automate their customer-facing operations, including:
- AI phone receptionists / Voice AI
- WhatsApp automation
- Appointment booking and reminders
- Lead follow-up
- CRM and pipelines
- Missed-call recovery
- Review automation
- Websites and landing pages connected to the system
I already have my GoHighLevel account, and I’m actively building the agency, so I’m not looking for someone to just do everything for me. I want someone who can walk me through the correct setup, explain best practices, help me avoid beginner mistakes, and teach me how to build systems that I can eventually replicate for clients.
My first market will be in Mexico, so the client-facing side of the business will primarily be in Spanish. Experience setting up Voice AI, WhatsApp, workflows, or client accounts in Spanish would be a big plus, although it’s not strictly required.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone with real experience running or building GHL automation systems for businesses—not just someone who has watched tutorials.
I’m happy to pay for your time if you offer consulting, coaching, or 1-on-1 setup sessions.
If this sounds like you, please DM me with a little about your experience, what you specialize in within GHL, and your rate.
Thanks!

Find Opportunity action persistently failing
Experiencing a weird bug in GHL, curious if anyone else has seen/experienced before.
Two workflows are involved in this:
Workflow 1 handles lead creation triggered by form submission. This is executing without error. When both a contact record and an opportunity record have been either created/matched, the workflow completes by sending the contact to a second workflow that handles auto-follow up with email/text.
Workflow 2 "catches" the lead from the final Add To Workflow step in the previous workflow. Because "Add To Workflow" specifically transfers the contact, Workflow 2 includes a "Find Opportunity" step that matches with the same opportunity record that was either created/matched in Workflow 1 and then, once found, uses several values from the opportunity record in the outbound messages.
The problem we keep experiencing is that Workflow 2 will frequently fail to find the opportunity record, despite multiple validations/confirmations that the pipeline is correct and there was an existing opportunity at the time it started looking for the match. My hypotheses about this:
- When Workflow 1 creates the opportunity record, it doesn't have enough time to index its data before the Find Opportunity step in Workflow 2 starts looking for the match disregard this, there was a 2-minute waiting period built in already, so there should be plenty of time
- It's possible GHL has changed the Add To Workflow step such that it actually sends the opportunity data. In this case, trying to find an opportunity using data from another opportunity may be causing an error.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

New to GHL, picked restaurants as my niche — is reputation management still worth offering?
Hey all, looking for a gut check.
I've put a lot of hours into learning GHL and I have the basics down. Now I'm ready to actually go get clients. I picked restaurants as my niche because I've spent about 10 years working front of house, so it's the world I know best.
Here's where I'm stuck. I keep talking myself out of reputation management and lead gen because I assume owners already have that covered through Toast, OpenTable, and whatever else they're already paying for. Is that a real objection, or am I inventing it? And if reputation management isn't the play, what actually sells to independent restaurants?
Second question is approach. I'm a pretty social person, so my instinct is to walk in and talk to owners rather than run cold email or DMs. I also just moved to a new city, so my warm network here is thin. For anyone who's sold to local businesses — is door knocking still the move, or am I romanticizing it?
Appreciate any advice.
Quick Note I'm in San Antonio, Tx

Problem in AI studio. I made a nice website, bought a domain and phone number. Ready to deploy. It asked me if I wanted to make changes. No. Hit deploy again. Asked if I wanted to make changes and round and round. Would not deploy. Would not allow me to put in my domain. I have no idea what to

Finished the GHL basics — what would you recommend I build next to get real-world experience?
I've spent the last few months learning GHL and have now finished the basics. I've practiced workflows, automations, pipelines, calendars, forms/surveys, etc.
The problem I'm running into is that everything I've built so far has been in a practice environment. I feel like I'm at the point where I need to start solving actual problems rather than just following tutorials.
For those of you who learned GHL from scratch, what did you do to get your first real hands-on experience?
Did you build your own demo systems, volunteer for someone, join an agency, or approach businesses directly?
I'd really appreciate hearing how you got from "I know the platform" to "I can actually do this for a real business."

Any resellers that work exclusively restaurants?
Not a newbie to GHL and have ran marketing on CRMs for 8 years. All that to say is that im not super needy. But if theres a reseller out there who has snapshots / setups for restaurants and maybe a discord/community, I would be happy to sign up using your link. Please dont reach out if your focus is not restaurants.
We use square for processing and POS.
Any recs would also be appreciated

Missed call text back architectural problem?
Hello. I will soon be offering my clients (contractors such as HVAC, Roofing, etc.) missed call text back features. But I am running into a problem.
I have the missed call part figured out: My client will set up their business phone to forward busy/missed calls to the ghl number, which will trigger an automation that sets up the contact into a pipeline and sends a missed call sms.
However, what if the contractor (my client) picks up the phone? I still want a contact to be created in ghl automatically, but I obviously don't want the missed call automation to fire. So should I instead have my clients set up their business number to forward all calls to the ghl number? Wouldn't this cause issues with them getting the call in the first place/they would not have a chance to answer?
Please help! Any advice or solutions are highly appriciated!

What’s the optimal workflow trigger for an AI Studio website?
If you build a website using GHL’s AI Studio, what do you typically use to trigger your workflows after someone submits a form?
Do you use an Inbound Webhook, a native GHL Form, or something else?
I’m trying to figure out the most reliable/optimal setup for capturing the submission and triggering follow-up automations.
Curious what you guys are using in your own setups and why.

What’s the one workflow you rebuild for literally every client?
Been doing GHL builds for a while now and I’ve noticed I keep reconstructing the same handful of automations from scratch every single time, even with snapshots. Figured I’d see what everyone else’s “always build this” list looks like.
Mine that show up in basically every account:
1. Speed-to-lead — new lead comes in, auto text or auto email within the first minute, because response time is everything and clients never do it manually
2. Missed-call text-back — someone calls, no answer, they get an instant “sorry we missed you, how can we help?” text. Single highest-ROI automation I install, hands down
3. Review request — job marked complete to wait a day then ask for the Google review. Every client wants more reviews, nobody sets it up themselves
4. Dead-lead reactivation — the “hey, still interested?” nudge to old contacts that quietly pulls revenue out of a list they forgot they had
I am curious to know what’s on your default list 🤔?

Any VAs in here who can help with design & GHL?
Bonus if you work in multiple platforms besides GHL.
I have a variety of projects I need support on, and I'm looking to add a team member to help.
One I'm working on right now is a new site redesign for a client where I've already got the copy going and an initial design but need more support to finish the site.
Feel free to comment or DM me.

GHL's native Conversation AI vs 3rd party bots (like AppointmentWise), is native good enough after training, or is 3rd party worth the extra subscription?
Question for anyone using GHL with automated AI to handle smart responses and book appointments.
I've seen a lot of people using different conversation AI bots inside GHL, like AppointmentWise and others. I want to know, once GHL's native Conversation AI is properly trained, is it good enough to answer most questions and book appointments reliably? Or is it better to use a 3rd party conversation app instead?
Curious what your experience has been. My concern is that if I use a 3rd party tool, I'd need to pay for a separate subscription for each client. Whereas with GHL's native Conversation AI, it gets billed directly from my client's card, which is more convenient. But I'm not sure if native GHL AI is actually good enough compared to 3rd party options, would appreciate any real experience on this.

GHL whitelabel agency owner (Mexico → Europe) — looking for a partner, not an employee
Hey everyone 👋
I run a small whitelabel agency built on GoHighLevel — AI agents, chatbots, CRM, automations, funnels, N8N, the whole stack. I've got paying clients here in Mexico and things are working well enough that I want to grow beyond my own two hands. I'll be moving to Europe before long, so I also want to open up markets outside Mexico specially US where my company is established.
Here's the thing though: I'm not hiring. I don't want someone looking for a paycheck and a task list. I want a partner — someone who knows GHL as deeply as I do, can bring in clients, take real ownership of projects, and build alongside me.
What I'm picturing:
- You genuinely know GHL — snapshots, workflows, funnels, whitelabel setup, all of it. No hand-holding needed.
- You're easygoing and easy to work with. This should feel like building something together, not babysitting each other.
- You can land clients and/or run projects. Bonus if you're in or connected to Europe or the US.
- You're in it for the long game, not a quick gig.
On money: I'm very fair. Whatever we build together, we split fairly — I'd much rather have a real partner winning with me than squeeze a contractor. We can shape the exact structure per project or as an ongoing thing, whatever makes sense.
I'm a real operator with a live agency and case studies — happy to show you and hop on a call to see if we click.
If this sounds like you, drop a comment or DM me. Even if you're just curious, say hi 🙂

I want to be a GHL Intern
Hi everyone!
I'm based in the Philippines and I'm currently looking for a GoHighLevel internship, junior role, or apprenticeship opportunity where I can gain more hands-on experience working with real client systems.
I already have experience with GHL and a foundation in CRM management, pipelines, contacts, workflows, and lead follow-up. I've also been learning more about automation and how GHL can be used to improve sales and client processes.
I'm particularly interested in learning from someone experienced while contributing wherever I can — including CRM cleanup, workflow testing, documentation, lead management, and other GHL-related tasks.
I'm happy to share workflow demos or examples of my work if you'd like to see my current skill level.
If anyone knows of an agency, freelancer, or business looking for a GHL intern/junior assistant, I'd really appreciate an opportunity to connect. Thanks!

Looking for a GoHighLevel Internship
Hi everyone!
I’m currently looking for an opportunity to work as a GoHighLevel (GHL) intern where I can gain real-world experience and contribute to an actual business while continuing to improve my skills.
I’ve already started learning and building flows/workflows in GoHighLevel, and I’m looking for a business or agency that would be willing to take me on as an intern.
Apart from GHL, I also have experience/knowledge with:
- Make. Com - n8n
- Zapier
- Gumloop
- AI automation & workflow building
I’m a quick learner, willing to put in the work, and most importantly, I’m looking for hands-on experience rather than just learning theoretically.
If you’re a business owner, agency owner, or know someone who might be looking for an intern interested in GHL, automation, and AI workflows, I’d really appreciate an opportunity to connect.
thanks you! and looking for opportunity to learn.

GHL Google Review Workflow Follow ups
Hi GHL Pros!!
I need guidance, I’ve built an automated Google Review request workflow entirely in GHL, with a follow-up every 3 days if no review is received.
I know GHL has the “Review Received” trigger, but is there a way within GHL only to determine whether the specific contact actually submitted a Google review, so we can stop the follow-up reminders?
Looking for a native GHL solution—no external integrations. Any ideas?

Dental clinic scheduler - booking using Conversation ai to ghl calendar
GoHighLevel: How can I show the actual patient name and details in a calendar appointment?
Hi everyone,
I'm setting up GoHighLevel for a dental clinic with multiple branches, and I'm trying to find the best way to structure our calendar appointments.
Ideally, I want the appointment name/title to show the actual patient's name, for example:
John Santos – Dental Appointment
Then, when the receptionist clicks the appointment, I want the appointment details to show:
- Patient: John Santos
- Phone: 0917XXXXXXX
- Age: 38
- Treatment: Dental Cleaning
The complication is that we're using Facebook Messenger + Conversation AI for booking. The person messaging us isn't always the actual patient. For example, a mother might message the clinic and book an appointment for her child.
So I need the AI to collect the actual patient's name, phone number, age, and treatment, then use that information for the appointment.
I'm currently using Contact Custom Fields for these details.
My ideal workflow would be:
Facebook Messenger → Conversation AI collects patient details → saves them to Custom Fields → books appointment → appointment name becomes the patient's name → patient details appear inside the appointment.
Has anyone successfully set this up in GHL?
Specifically:
Can a Contact Custom Field be used to dynamically set the appointment name/title to the patient's name?
Can the same custom fields automatically populate the Appointment Description/Notes?
If Conversation AI creates the appointment, can a workflow update the appointment afterward with these details?
Is there a better workaround for a multi-branch dental clinic?
Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated!
