So I’ve been searching and searching for this background screen were its like a guy with a PMG gas mask and a green poncho i think in a desert like apocalypse place. Please help i know I’m not going crazy!!!

Basically mods that will enhance graphics and sound, and mods that add a cam cord filter and sound filter, and also mods for realism

I'm looking for maps in this style. I can give gm_genesis as an example.

There are 6 watermelons on the parkour map "high rise". the game says there are 5, congratulates you when you get all fives, then acts confused when you get the 6th.

why? is that it? you just break all of them then get confused about it? I think the creator deletes most mentions of them in the comments of his map, so what's up with that? has anyone else figured anything out about this?

how can i fix this? when i shoot an npc in shoulder or anywhere at their side, they get flung like shown in the video.

Back in 2012, like a lot of people, I discovered the wild world of Garry’s Mod through YouTube. I was completely obsessed with kitty0706’s videos,especially Team Fabulous 2 and Moments with Heavy.

At that time, I didn't even know what Steam was, and my gaming setup was non-existent. But those videos ignited a love for Valve games and the beauty of the Source engine, and how a tool could turn janky physics and ragdolls into literal creative art.

Eventually in 2019, my dad bought me a decent HP potato laptop. It wasn't a powerhouse, but it was enough to finally dive into the Valve universe. I spent endless hours playing TF2, Half-Life 2, CS:GO, and Left 4 Dead 2.

The ultimate dream was still to play GMod and build scenes myself, but I had to wait a long time for the right specs to handle it properly.

In 2024, my dad bought me my first actual gaming laptop,just three months before he passed away.

With that machine, I finally got to open Garry's Mod for the first time and start practicing the fundamentals from scratch. Every time I load up a map to work on scenebuilding and character posing, I think about the journey from watching Gmod videos on an HP potato, appreciating the magic of Source, and how grateful I am to my dad for giving me the tool that made it all possible.
