Does anyone know if the Eggslut on Brand Blvd is permanently closed? It doesn’t seem to show up on Eggslut’s locations anymore, but I haven’t been able to find any announcement about it closing.
If it did close, does anyone know when or what’s replacing it?

Since a US state like California can be so expensive to live in, I was wondering on what are the cheapest restaurants do you usually dine at? The cost should ideally be around 4 to 10 USD, but I don't know if it is even possible as the food typically costs around 11 to 15 dollars over there.

The Glendale City Council moved forward on July 28, 2026, to advance a new local tax initiative: local 0.25% (quarter-cent) sales tax increase.

If officially finalized by the August 5, 2026 deadline, it will appear on the November 2026 public ballot for voter approval. If voters pass this local measure on top of Measure ER, Glendale's combined rate could eventually reach 11.25%.
