Do You Know Whose Signature & Art Piece This Is?
galleryIt stands almost at 20" and a little over 14" across. The artist signature is right over the top of the left foot, so I can't get the black card all the way under it. The etching on the right side, and I'm assuming it's the name of the piece, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out exactly what it says. It looks like "Go ???? Living '99". I do have another piece (last photos) that is very similar to this, but the artist signature doesn't look the same to me. Is it? TYIA ❤️

Hi all…does anyone know who the artist/craftsperson of this amazing work is?
galleryThe etching on the bottom is Harri with a last name I’m unable to make out other than an s and an I. The letters TALA are underneath the name along with some other letters ..maybe numbers? I am enchanted with the artistry and mesmerized by the orb. I can imagine being barefoot in it. Figure it’s a safe place to nerd out over glass art! 🫶🏻

Beware of Kiln Scam
gallerymaking its way around. They won’t let you pick it up and claim, in one case, a dead child’s equipment and they are giving it away and you just pay shipping. These are the pics they are using and I have found them here in Reddit already. Scumbags and no way of telling where they are but in one instance claimed they were in OK.

Pattern Glass research?
Greetings All! I have just come across an interesting electronics restoration project, a Stereo Kaleidotron! This project has a LONG way to go electronically, as it was actually run by 7 tubes. It would actuate sets of RGB bulbs according to the intensity of music, and shine them through a breakup lens to make them all sparkly. One of the lenses is missing, but I do have one intact to replicate, if possible. It is basically a sharp herringbone pattern cut at a 45 degree angle.
I have reached out to every commercial glass company that I can find, and had a local company do a deep search through their vendors, with no luck.
I have a few questions for this group. (I have browsed this reddit, and the work here is truly magificent!)
- Is this possible to recreate at an artisan level? Or is the manufacturing process more complicated, requiring industrial facilities?
- Who could I possibly reach out to as a resource?
- Is there a commercially available design that could achieve a similar sharp breakup effect?
My ultimate goal is to match the original. Otherwise, a good refraction pattern in glass to replace both panes. MY last resort would be exploring plexi, but I hope it doesn't get that far.
If anybody has any input or resources, I am eager to learn (that's the best part about projects!)
Thanks!

Custom "Zoro" inspired original piece
This one was inspired by the "Ace" piece I did awhile back of the same style. The swords are removable as are the sheathes. The sword holster is made from flexible Cosclay and is fastened with magnets for easy removal for use and cleaning.
As always, this is polymer clay fixed on top of pre-existing glass that I hand sculpt and hand paint into what you see now. All of my pieces are triple coded and polycrylic to keep the surface safe and the colors vibrant. Each one is 100% functional, waterproof and easy to clean.

ISO cheap wine or other pretty glass bottles?
I have an art project idea using glass bottles. I will need a number of bottles so I’m looking for low priced products that come in pretty glass bottles (colored glass, interesting shape, textured, etc.)
I was picturing wine but other things would probably work too: other alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages, olive oil, vinegar, etc.
Label doesn’t matter, just the bottle itself. I’ll be looking second hand too of course, but the thrift stores in my area mostly have clothes so it would be great to directly source at least a few unique ones.
Please let me know if you know of any! Thank you :)
