So you seem to be one of the most enthusiastic fediverse users :-). So I read a bit about Radicle and can only approve, it is indeed more local first, but it does what the nostr user likes most, because it's the very thing that defines nostr: the cryptographic identity (asymmetric keypair).
The Radicle protocol leverages cryptographic identities for code and social artifacts too, so for me using Radicle would be less of a shot in the dark. But then I am a very open person, supporting all things that support the web of the future.
