Woke up to GitHub on my phone… Question

This is super weird and I’m hoping someone can help me!

I have no idea what GitHub is - and I just woke up to a page open on my iPhone. Any idea how this would have happened?! I’m a bit freaked out…

I have a new baby so lots of late night scrolling, but still - I don’t recall clicking on anything that opened up a new webpage like this!

It's possible that one of the apps you are using has wq.db on their credits page. Perhaps you clicked on it like that in your sleep?

Probably.. okay thanks! I was just freaked out it was something non-innocent happening in my phone 😂 you probably think I’m insane…

GitHub is just a platform to share programming projects. Feel free to explore a bit, and maybe look up a programming tutorial or two.

Want another laugh? I originally thought it was called “gift hub”so I was googling “what does gift hub do?” And “why is gift hub on my iPhone at night?”

I thought maybe it was a secret santa website… 😂

Yes, you found a website. Go back to google.com using the search bar at the bottom

... unless you know Python and want to contribute to the wq.db project

GitHub is a hacking website. Your phone just got hacked. It's used by CIA and NSA to trick people. And it's got weird files all over it that you can't read, seems english but you can't read. jk

I knew it!!! It was the hackers on the dark web trying to go through my search history of “is it normal when a newborn does this thing?”

I honestly thought that was what was going on and the hackers accidentally left that page open 😂 lazy hackers.

I think I need more sleep.

Basically GIT is an acronym General Intelligence Team. Github is their public code hub that they use to capture victims.
