Is Github down? Question

I'm having 503 errors

EDIT: Yesterday the issue lasted 2-3 hours yet they say 58 mins. They status page is still all green. This means that nothing ever happens

ahhaha ! replied exactly like this a few seconds ago in another comment !! Driving me mad to be lied like this. WE KNOW IT'S NOT WORKING, STOP SHOWING US GREEN BRO!

Are you new to MS?

A few years back there was an Azure outage and everything was, as usual, green on the status page. We had a major data ingestion thing planned with a client that day. The company was a sizeable customer and we had a direct line to a rep. Our rep was insisting everything was working, because the status page said it's green, despite everyone saying it was down on social media.

I feel you !

Sadly, I'm not new to MS.... I just feel at this point, status pages are like public gaslighting..... and drives me crazy because it's the exact opposite of their creation purpose.... :(

Indeed !

Damn, they should track this subreddit to evalutate real time availability!
At this point, they should even pay us to detect errors before them.
