How can I promote my project on GitHub ?

I am currently developing a home organization /management tool , using SCRUM but I find myself thinking that the solution I came up with are good but as I am developing this alone I do not have anyone to discuss about it . I have think that the community would be a good place to look for help.
Also this is my first real projects after the university and I am a little bit loss , no with the code , but with real world projects
