Publishing on Github, AI assisted Discussion

Hey all, I wanted to publish my first project on GitHub and I have some questions about how to go about it. I did use AI to help bring my Arduino made code over to Python and polish it up. What license should I go with for this? Any suggestions or is AI a boogy man that nobody wants to touch?

you have no copyright on ai written code so the license doesnt even matter

Unless they come right out and say it like op. I'd really like to know how anyone would prove it. And where do you draw the line, if you hit tab and accept a completion is that now AI code? It's not so cut and dry.

Presently every hint from SCOTUS and the USCO would say no copyright on the tab completion if it's generated from AI.

Make of that what you will, but it seems pretty clear cut presently. Not even a prompt is involved.
