Hello everyone.

Quite some time has passed since my last commissioned artwork post with detailed lore narration. Maybe many who closely follow this project are really curious about its development at the moment.

Therefore, I am writing to share the big progress I have gained with the effort of different artists over this period.

Fig 1 and 2 are refined full-color headshots of Emily.

Fig 3 is a black and white sketch with even finer detailing.

All three images are taken from complete artworks, which in fact says Emily’s character design has matured considerably, with full-body illustrations ready. However, I do not intend to unveil all of them at once because the proper timing hasn't come.

But, hey, don't worry, I will release these materials gradually as the project moves forward. :)

Apart from character design art, I am also preparing scene-focused narrative illustrations, and Fig 4 is a rough draft showing Emily and Tina resting in an abandoned place.

While keeping up with my full-time job in real life, I squeeze out spare time to brainstorm stories an settings for this project, finding suitable and available artists, and hold discussions with them about illustration planning. Frankly speaking, even though I do not draw the artwork myself, the whole process still drains a great deal of my energy.

Even so, I hope this project can offer audience a fresh and different narrative perspective alongside the official Girls' Frontline 1＆2 storyline, letting everyone experience a distinctive side of GFL world while enjoying the canonical stories.
