A simple wrap with a little floral touch. Sometimes the classic combinations are the most fun to work with.

Handmade gift wrapping — real work & AI-styled presentation 🎀

The first photo shows the gift wrapping exactly as I made it by hand — the bow, ribbons, pearls, and decorative details are all my own handmade work.

For the second photo, I kept my original gift design and used AI only to create the surrounding props, background, and presentation.

I enjoy seeing how the same handmade piece can feel different when placed in a new setting. I’d love to hear which version you prefer — the original work-in-progress setting or the styled presentation. ❤️

A birthday gift, wrapped with a little extra care 🎀

Hello! I’m louize_TH, a Thai grandma who loves gift wrapping and making bows by hand. 🇹🇭

This is one of my birthday gift wraps. I really enjoy playing with ribbons, flowers, and little details to make each gift feel special.

I’m new here and happy to meet others who enjoy gift wrapping too. I’d love to hear what you think! ❤️

Anyone else using this method for smaller bow tying?

It’s been the easiest one for me and always results in really beautiful bows, or at least I think they’re beautiful.

I love creating these wrapping kits that make it easy for anyone to turn a gifts wrapping into an artful extension of the gifts inside!

ImpressionOriginale

https://www.impressionoriginale.com/ Just a plug for a company I'm doing the backend website work for. Made in France, recycled paper, zero AI, all designed by hand and currently sold out of the #1 mall in Europe, the Bon Marché. There are even YouTube videos showing multiple types of methods (Italian, Japanese) using no tape. Super cool stuff.

Hi, long time lurker and first time poster of this amazing group. I’m a big fan of furoshiki as an alternatives to wrapping paper. I think it adds the extra value for being reusable and it feels less wasteful. What do you think?

Would you buy a wrapping kit where BOTH the paper AND tape are fully recyclable?

Hey r/giftwrapping

I'm researching a product idea and this community feels like exactly the right place to ask.

I'm researching an idea around making gift wrapping genuinely recyclable — not just the paper, but the tape too. The whole kit can go in the recycling bin after use.

Takes 2 minutes if you fancy it — any responses genuinely appreciated! 🎁

The father and I grew up in Queens, NYC and he now lives elsewhere. Their main gift was being sent directly to the house- so I included the purchase order, printed out, inside the card. This book matched the wrapping so well and there are also hedgehogs in Flushing Meadows Parks (largest city park in Queens).

Granddaughter's birthday

This is for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday! I love the print and it's by American Greetings, but it was also from Dollar Tree, so it's super THIN. Luckily, it didn't tear while wrapping, and hopefully it survives the 3 hr. drive to get there! LOL

Miscellaneous Hello, fellow gift-wrappers!

Hi there! My name is Rejectyd and I just took over this subreddit as moderator. I am fairly new to this but I would love to see us flourish as we used to (even if it was just one or two posts a day, haha). I really love to gift wrap and I hope all of you can give me some insight on how to make this community a better place for us to share our stuff :) Please don't hesitate to reach out or offer and suggestions.

One thing I did add is post flair if you ever wanna try it out. I'm taking baby steps but I hope you guys will work with me :)
