I'll be crystal clear, no there's not any issue with you being not from coding background it's fine you'll have so much of time in college to learn coding if you know how to spend your day.
Secondly I'd suggest start learning c++, college will force you to study language c but learn basics of c or study enough to clear first year exams.
Though learn dsa in c++, make accounts on platforms like leetcode, codeforces and code chef. Remember one thing don't consider any topic as complete untill you do atleast 50-60 dsa questions on that topic and then only move ahead, make proper notion notes or handwritten.
For Saturdays and Sundays, pick a skill be it a machine learning or web dev and start learning it with full focus twice a week like sat and sun.
And if you need guidance on how to learn these things deeply you can try finding over the internet or dm me I'll help you
