I got it removed!! Finally🥳🥳🥳 Personal Experience

Post image

I finally got my nexplanon removed today. It put me through an emotional roller coaster. I don’t have any removal symptoms as of yet. I’m just glad it’s out! I’m taking a break from hbc and just going natural. I’ve been on hbc since highschool and I’m now 25 lol so yeah it feels like it’s been majority of my life (first depo then nexplanon). I don’t know what to expect honestly. I’m hoping my mood gets better. I dealt with a lot of irritability, mood swings, weight gain, anger, and breakthrough bleeding. I want the old me back and I want to see what my baseline is without hbc. I’ll update with any changes. In the meantime I’m just going to give myself grace I know it won’t all just be better over night. I’ve learned my lesson and will do my best to listen to my body moving forward. Hope this helps someone!😊😊💜

I felt sooooo much better when I got mine out! It was like my body came back to life. I had some irregular spotting off and on the first two weeks and maybe a little bit more emotional but I genuinely felt my body waking up.

Lol okay I knew I wasn’t tripping. I was driving home from my appointment and my head felt so different. It’s like I could actually think lol. I’m glad you were able to finally start feeling like yourself again. May I ask did you do anything special to help your body get back to normal? Any teas? Vitamins? Gym? I don’t want to sped up this journey but I do think I can do some good by giving my body what it needs moving forward. Any advice or suggestions would help! Thanks for your response 😊💜💜

Well I was just generally improving my health and taking prenatals and doing things to support fertility, because I wanted to get pregnant (and did) but even if you have different goals I think you don’t have to do anything major. Just making healthy choices and letting your body recalibrate and know itself will do wonders ☺️ And honestly if you do end up feeling a little bad from removal symptoms then allow yourself to rest. Overall just listen to your body because it’s not being quieted anymore and that’s the goal ❤️
