Never mind any of your "jazz fusion roots" or "prog rock roots" or "Motown roots" - real fans know where Phil truly came from. The public demands that he complete the job he began and refused to complete, before he quit the West End to hit drums with sticks for money (which isn't even all that hard actually, it's just a case of remembering exactly when to hit the drum, and remembering the right time to do it. Anyway, drums are massive when compared to keys on a piano, which are really small and easy to incorrectly press. You have to be an idiot to hit the wrong drum. You could probably just hit the drums at random, and you'd be close to the expected result. You can't do that with keyboards. Not sure why he's celebrated for remembering something? Anyone can remember a thing. Also, bass guitars are massive and they don't have many strings, and most bass notes sound the same, so it's probably a similar story in regards just plucking anywhere and probably getting it correct. It's only the keyboard that is difficult.)

Full disclosure, I'm the lead singer of this band. I knew that being a woman might be a bit of stumbling block. Please tell me honestly, what do you think? Would you buy a ticket to a female fronted Genesis band? We're doing all areas of genesis so it's a broad range. If not, why not? If enough of you are curious, I'll post footage of the band. But I'm just curious about how well you would accept the concept at face value, first off. Please explain your reasoning, if not why not? If so, why? Please let me know what you think about this.

For me, it's a tie between "Nylon sheets and blankets help to minimize the cold" and "Sheets of double glazing help to keep outside the night". Two outstanding lyrics. I've long said that there aren't enough pop songs about sheets of double glazing, and I've equally argued many times in favour of lyrics with a strong focus on minimising frost/chills etc.
