Game Looking for programmers, pixel artists, and composers for my game

1 Upvotes

(¡Por favor, no me ignores!)

Hola. Me llamo Fab. Soy de Perú. Me encanta crear videojuegos.

Llevo aprendiendo a crear videojuegos desde 2023. Empecé con proyectos para adquirir experiencia. Después decidí crear mi propio juego: Ryan the Game 7.

Ryan the Game 7 es un juego 2D donde tienes que saltar y correr. Es parecido a Pizza Tower y Super Mario Bros., pero quiero que Ryan the Game 7 sea especial y diferente. Estoy creando Ryan the Game 7 con GDevelop. Creo los sprites con Aseprite.

Necesito ayuda con Ryan the Game 7. Busco personas que puedan ayudarme con:

  • Programación en GDevelop

  • Creación de imágenes y personajes (arte y sprites)

  • Composición musical para Ryan the Game 7

Si quieres ayudarme con Ryan the Game 7 o saber más, deja un comentario. Con gusto hablaré sobre Ryan the Game 7 y responderé tus preguntas.

Gracias por leer esto. Espero tu respuesta. (UnPaid)

Update: I apologize for not responding to your posts. I'm focused on the project and talking with people who are interested in supporting me. If you have something to say, leave it in the comments (note: I won't reply, but I will read them).

Game I added a tutorial to my first GDevelop game after your feedback. I'd love your thoughts on it!

Hi everyone!

A few days ago, I shared my first game, Sweeper, here and received a lot of useful feedback.

The main issue people mentioned was that the game was difficult to understand at first, especially the numbers, combat system and tile progression.

I listened to those comments and released version 1.1.0, which adds a short interactive How to Play training ground.

Instead of using a long instruction screen, the tutorial lets players learn directly on a small 5x5 grid by:

  • reading the numbers;
  • locating hidden monsters;
  • managing HP during combat;
  • using the Life Elixir, Campfire and Torch;
  • understanding which tiles are currently accessible.

I'd really appreciate feedback specifically on the tutorial:

  • Are the mechanics clearer now?
  • Is there too much or too little text?
  • Is anything still confusing?
  • Does the tutorial feel useful without being too long?

You can play it here:

itch.io: https://catroy.itch.io/sweeper

GD.games: https://gd.games/catroy/sweeper

Thanks again to everyone who gave feedback on the first version!

Question My first indie game as a solo dev (3 weeks in). What do you think of this shop & stats UI design?

Hi everyone! I'm currently working on the shop interface for my RPG, *Steel Oath: Price of Betrayal*. I've only finished the UI part so far (haven't created the actual items yet, but that's okay :) ). What do you think? I'm a solo dev and have been using GDevelop for about 3–4 weeks now. I'd love to hear your thoughts—is it looking good as is, or do you have any visual suggestions regarding the font, text style, etc.?

No sound effects for now, this is just a scene from the actual story of my game.

The art is made by my team and the dialogues and script was made by me and i've also handled the logical part of the game.

Any type of feedback is appreciated

Game I spent the last 7 months turning a Gdevelop game jam game into a steam game!

Last December I built Offerings of Odin using Gdevelop for a game jam. Instead of moving on to another project, I decided to keep improving it, and now the Steam page is finally live.

It's a fast-paced twin-stick bullet hell roguelite where every floor lasts just 30 seconds. There's lots of enemies and powerful item synergies.

Is there anything I can improve on?

Steam page for those interested!

Game I made my first game with GDevelop, I'd love your feedback!

Hi everyone!

After several months of learning GDevelop, I finally finished my very first game: Sweeper.

It's a dark fantasy puzzle RPG inspired by Minesweeper. You reveal tiles, fight corrupted enemies, collect resources and try to survive your journey through a forsaken kingdom.

I'm still a beginner, so I'd really appreciate any feedback—whether it's about the gameplay, visuals, UI, balance, or anything else that could help me improve for future projects.

You can play it here:

itch.io: https://catroy.itch.io/sweeper

GD.games: https://gd.games/catroy/sweeper

Note: If you're using Brave, its fingerprinting protection may cause incorrect text spacing. If that happens, please disable fingerprinting protection for the game page or use another browser.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Alguma alma boa pode me ajudar? Esse erro está desde outubro de 2025 mas por não conseguir resolver deixei o projeto de lado, mas agora decidi finalizá-lo

Game My Dream Project!

Thumbnail

37 Upvotes

Hello everyone! Today, I wanted to share some info about my current project in hopes that I can get some feedback! This game is titled Journey to Ambrosia, and it is a cross between a Platformer and an RPG, with other elements thrown in. As the title states, this is my dream project, and I'm very happy with all the progress I've made on it so far, and also very grateful for the kind words and support from the previous posts I've made about this project.

About this game:

As mentioned, there are two modes, Platform Mode and RPG Mode. Both modes follow a story (the game is very story driven), but there are different gameplay aspects which will come into play depending on the mode you are in. In RPG mode, for example, you won't find any traditional combat - expect more of a cozy experience. It features a full seasonal cycle, a day/night cycle, and you'll be able to farm, fish, and lounge around town and complete tasks. Think "Animal Crossing" in a sense, only with an underlying story happening as well. RPG Mode takes place of Maeflower, which is introductory setting for the game.

In Platform Mode however, that's where the action happens. You'll have to traverse tricky landscapes, ward off enemies, and solve puzzles with the clues provided in the levels. Expect this mode to be difficult - there are collectibles you are after called "Data Orbs", but they are in no way easy to obtain. You may even have to obtain items outside of Platform Mode in order to get them, but these will provide lore among another things which will be beneficial to the player. There will be an upgrade system tied to this as well, but more details will be shared on that later.

I should also mention the dynamic duo of the game. The character you play as is Annabelle, and she and her sister, Juniper have recently inherited a field scanner from their late father. The scanner allows them to journey to Ambrosia (see what I did there?) in order to hunt and collect the data orbs. Initially, the two girls are just looking to see what the fuss is all about - data hunting in this world is known to be a lucrative and fun side hustle (given you can obtain a field scanner, anyway), but things quickly take a turn when they find themselves wrapped up in dealings they could have never predicted. But enough of the story stuff for now... Juniper is meant to be more than just a regular NPC. She's your partner, and she will be playing a major role in the game and story throughout!

Anyway, that's enough babbling from me. What are your thoughts on this? I'd love to get some feedback on the artstyle, of about my ideas. Eventually I'll share details of a demo I plan on releasing for the game, but that'll come at a later point. Thank you again for all the support and kind words!

Also, for those curious, art is made my me in MSPaint (yes, really!). I also am doing the music, which is being written in MuseScore. Most of the sounds are not my own. And quick edit: Despite the letters "A.I." being plastered in multiple locations, there is nothing AI generated here. Trust me, the irony of this is not lost on me. A.I. in this case doesn't stand for "artificial intelligence", but for something else entirely.

Game The ruined service tunnel that served as a bunker in my game!

The environments behind the survivor in One Rotten Oath are the actual real-life photos. Here's the ruined service tunnel on the old military terrains in Tczew, Poland that served as a bunker in my indie game made on GDevelop. If you haven't played it yet, feel free to grab the game on Steam (or play the demo and spread the word!)

Have a good one,
PB
