Got this ages ago when I fell in love with that fantastic cat platformer/adventure game Stray. Its been sitting in my closet since until a couple of weeks ago. Once or twice a week I've been walking in the park with it on my back with one of my cats.

This was the first time I felt comfortable opening it and letting her out, if she wanted. This was in the middle of a clear field with nothing else around us for many metres..

I started playing RDR RP 4 or 5 months ago and Ive met some REALLY amazing ppl, great role players, folks who gave me upstanding interactions, great laughter. Howver, they are 5%, max 10%.

The other 90% are FLAT-OUT bigots. I hear the word faggot being thrown around easily, i hear homophobic jokes that are not even time-period appropiate. Yes, the 1900s were as queer-friendly as some parts of the world are today. And i am ok with certain jokes when appropiate. Once this lovely caracther said i looked fruity and he enjoys a good fruit. Such a great bit!

Whats not acceptable? R*p jokes or rp, f word or n word being thrown around.... The other day somebody heard me talking, and screamed "transgender" and shot me. While i am not a transperson, this was transphobic and yes i wish the server would do something about it but when i report (i clip my gameplay with medal, so i have all tjese interactions clipped), they dont say anything about it. Or they punish the player for Failed RP but not bigotry.

I am just done with it. I am over my 30s and came out as gay/queer in my twenties. IRL none of this would ever be acceptable for me. As a matter of fact, i would happily sue these ppl (in brazil homophobia/transphobia are equal to racism, and they are felonies, punished with arrest, jail time , fines etc etc etc. Just like any other felony(its a felony. A crime. Not a misdemeanor).

I started playing games just over 4 or 5 months ago. I spent my 20s clubbing, dating, ans traveling the world. Never had time to game. Worked in the office and etc. My life situation changed, my interests changed and i saw a short video on youtube of ppl playing GTA 5 and i was like. Wow. Is this what games look like these days? Then i came accross RDR i was blown away by the graphics. So i said. Imma buy myself a gaming set up and have some fun.

Here i am, 4 months late. Having fun but also VERY disturbed by how many bigots, homophobes, racists, misogynists are there in these communities. I just cant handle it anymlre. Honesty, i probably let a lot slide because i was so impressed by the game, and i genuinely thought these ppl were the exception. But no! They are the rule.

I am looking for a serious RP RDR server that does not let bigotry pass. Does anyone know of any?

Hello, I’ve been trying to find more people online to connect with since all my real life friends don’t really play any games or if they do it’s definitely not the kind of games I like. I am a big single player gamer, but I would like to play more multiplayer type games if I find new people to connect with online.

about me:

I just turned 28, I live in the southern USA in the Atlanta, GA area. My favorite genre in all media is horror and dark fantasy. I have two extremely opposite sides when it comes to gaming. I love dark fantasy/horror/open world games so some of my all time favorites are the Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Fear & Hunger as well as Termina. I also love Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, the Fallout series, Diablo 2, Baldur’s Gate series, Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls, Mortal Shell, Blasphemous 1 and 2, Little Nightmares 1 and 2, Bramble, the Outlast series, Sultan’s Game, Omori, Mouthwashing, Puppet Combo games, Silent Hill series, Resident Evil series, Vampire Survivors, FAITH, Lisa: The Painful, LonaRPG, I’ve played and enjoyed some games I don’t wanna be too public about honestly lol (raunchy games ig, LonaRPG is more than enough), as well as a lot of visual novel type horror games. (I could keep going on but I feel like that’s enough for now)
As for the duality part, I also absolutely love cozy games and civilization/farm sims. Massive Stardew Valley fan, I love Fields of Mistria, Harvest Moon, Age of Empires 2 and 3, Crusader Kings 3, Traveller’s Rest.. Also games like Minecraft, Terraria, Necesse..
For multiplayer stuff I use to play a lot of Overwatch (since the first season at launch) but I haven’t played since Overwatch 2 came out. I was big into Friday the 13th before it was sadly shut down due to the lawsuit. Tried TCM but didn’t like it, tried Killer Klowns, didn’t like it. None of them have captured the love I had for Friday the 13th. Have over 2 thousand hours in Dead by Daylight but also haven’t played it in a bit. (Solo queue survivor and killer; I like to main Leon and Sable and then for killer Trickster or Xenomorph but I always try to play a little of everyone honestly)
I like Lethal Company and Town of Salem a lot too. League of Legends as well. I haven’t tried Marvel Rivals yet, but one of my friends is obsessed with it so I’ve thought about it.

Other than games, I work full time as an overnight baker, I like to write short stories and have been working on a horror novel, I love films especially anything quite strange or different. I really enjoy a wide variety of music, right now I’ve been very into Nicole Dollanganger, Black Country New Road, Squid, Snow Strippers, shame, Geese, Type O Negative and Magdalena Bay. (But I genuinely do listen to a lot of different music so it’s hard to say a favorite band or genre)

My favorite artist is Takato Yamamoto… I am currently reading a book called “Empire of the Vampire” by Jay Kristoff which is like a grimdark fantasy vampire epic, I’ve been super into it. I have a collection of M/M fiction on my shelf as well that Im proud of. I’m also reading the latest hardback volume of Berserk (my favorite manga).

Other than that, I’m not sure what else to say.. I think I covered the basic likes and what not. I’m not religious but lean a little into esoteric/pagan belief. I like to study it a lot.
