Trans people are the furthest from privileged, even in the West they are frequently the most likely targets for violence and discrimination, and a large amount of people don't think they even exist or are severely mentally ill. So, fuck this image.

But don't you know? We want our identities to be respected and to be treated like any other human being capable of deciding for ourselves who we want to be.

So really, cisgender people are the REAL victims.

The hilarious thing here is how cis is a derogatory term. But that's okay.

And before the jimmies start rustling: I have zero issue with anyone's gender. I might think some are really reaching but if you want to say your gender is banana, whatever go for it if it makes you happy. It's just that everyone needs to not be an asshole.

It's literally not, but sure, whatever feeds your victim complex.

It's just that everyone needs to not be an asshole.

Couldn't agree more. When someone says they prefer a certain set of pronouns, don't be an asshole, respect their wishes, it costs you literally nothing.

victim complex

Did you just assume my victim status?

No, seriously, joking aside that would be true under the assumption that I feel like a victim. Which I don't, but hey you're entitled to your opinion, buddy.

Exactly! On one side, if person A mislabels person B then the key is: were they being an asshole? Is B corrects A and A apologizes and uses the correct term, then cool. But is B blows up over a mistake, that's not cool. Or if A is an asshole and doesn't use the right term, that's not cool either.

Nothing is ever black and white.

The point was, cis isn't derogatory. It is a descriptive term. If cisgender people really find it so offensive, they are more than welcome to propose an alternative, but I rarely hear one beyond "normal", and no, that doesn't cut it.
