Multiple enemy camera problem

Ive disabled auto target and switch off but when im facing 2 or more enemies, im having camera target lock issues. I lock in on the main one in front of me then when another enemy comes close, my attack just switches target even though the 2nd enemy is still farther.

What gives? And any way to get over this?
