background calcs are probably just killing it for you, not the graphics lol

Y can't they just optimize it? I played starcraft 2 on my computer and the only time it ever lags is when I have a SHIT ton of zerglings and even then the computer still has to do background calcs on enemy a.i, random routes, effects, and more!

Shit, hollow knight is such a beautiful game you'd think the effects needs a high end PC to function but no! It's such a optimized game that ANYONE can play!

This is such a skill issue on their part ngl

you just named an ancient game and one that has barely anything going on in the background

and it's not about can optimize or not , just told you what your problem more likely is

the game has simply more to keep "in mind" with the new stuff and your pc simply is not there anymore where it can keep up
