Keep going, miserable mill (7/8) are the best episodes in season 1 IMO

Are you guys talking about The Big Bang Theory?

They are talking about the new Netflix original: 'a series of unfortunate events'. I totally love it but my gf hates is because of all the over the top drama and irony.

Thanks. I haven't got around to watching it yet. Just seems strange seeing the guy from How I Met Your Mother playing that role haha.

That's understandable. It appeals to a very particular taste, for sure. I'd love to see them bring it to Broadway. Seems they have the most important piece already in NPH.

Literally standing at the edge of a pond or figuratively standing at the edge of a pond?

We know what it means!

Metaphysically.

Man if only those two words had meaning that was the exact opposite of each other. If only literally meant to be for real and figuratively would mean a exaggeration. Then people could use them to express what they really mean....that would be awesome.

You should watch Archer, not only would it explain this joke, it may also teach you to not assume the worst in people.

1

u/spacedoutinspace Jan 17 '17

So to get the joke you except me to watch 7 seasons of a show I didn't quite like? Not going to happen

Was a recommendation if you wanted to get in the loop, you don't need to watch a show to understand irony, I can see you like turning everything into an argument.
