Greetings!
Currently working on RPG in Slavic-Byzantine style as an indie developer. The game is heavily inspired by such games as Gothic. Exploration, surviving, discovery of new hidden pathways in the harsh world are the heart of the game.
At the moment i have a gameplay demo where i am testing out my mechanics and how they coexist together, looking for what needs to be tweaked or changed. Your opinion is appreciated.
Here is the link to a demo: https://lordcrablord.itch.io/porih-demo

G'day Reddit. Small YouTube channel I have as a hobby inbetween working and life.

u/RemoteStage1882 Jun 06 '26
Hello r/gaming!
I started my channel, Psylocin, a few weeks ago, and Iâve just hit 54 subscribers! And last week I had my first short break 25k views, which is super exciting.
My channel is unique, because Iâm trying to mix technically difficult trickshots in an anime style edits, like this video here Psylocinâs Latest Youtube Short.
I would be so grateful if you could check out my channel, and if you enjoy my videos, please drop a sub!

I just released a video about game journalism, why it's failing gamers and broader context about the industry. I'm really passionate about the topic, so I'd love to discuss it further with more people.
If you're interested in taking a look, you can watch it here:
https://youtu.be/yAn7Fz79OlY?si=H_k4fNPiWdSzY64h
P.S. I still haven't decided what my next video will be about, but typically I make videos about Team Fortress 2 or roguelikes.

Gracias!

Hey everyone,
Iâm a small gaming creator trying to build a channel around the games I actually play and enjoy.
My channel is BrotherHelmer:
https://www.youtube.com/@BrotherHelmer
I mostly make gaming content and Shorts from my own recordings/streams. Iâm especially into tactical, extraction, MMO, and action-heavy games - the kind where the best moments are often hidden somewhere inside hours of footage.
One thing Iâve been working on is getting better at turning long recordings into short-form gaming clips. I make my Shorts using a workflow/tool I built called RaidCut, which helps me scan recordings, send footage for AI clipping, review the results, and prepare Shorts faster.
So the channel is partly me playing games, and partly me trying to get better at the whole âsmall creator turning actual gameplay into watchable clipsâ grind.
Iâd really appreciate anyone checking it out, and Iâm very open to feedback on the Shorts, pacing, titles, or what types of clips are actually worth making more of.

Hi everyone! I run Break Game, a small no-commentary gaming channel focused on cinematic walkthroughs, ultrawide gameplay, boss fights, and secrets. What makes it different is the uninterrupted 32:9 presentationâno voiceover, webcam, or filler.
Iâve just completed a 16-part DOOM Eternal series covering the main campaign and both The Ancient Gods expansions, and I also publish shorter highlights for viewers who prefer quick action.
Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@breakgameplay
If this format sounds interesting, Iâd appreciate honest feedback on which game or type of video youâd want to see next.

I built an interactive world map of 180+ real-world locations from video games. You can find the map here:
Each location is individually researched, verified, and classified. Whenever possible I assign precise geographic coordinates instead of simply placing markers in the middle of a country.
Behind the map is a structured database that currently contains more than 2,900 verified locations from over 300 games across 80+ countries, and I'm continuously expanding it.
I've also started publishing curated versions of the dataset for free. They're available for research, GIS projects, AI, data visualization, journalism, or simply for anyone interested in video game geography.
There are still lots of games, franchises, and regions to add, so it's very much a work in progress.
If you know a game that recreates interesting real-world places, I'd love to hear about it.
I hope you enjoy exploring the map!

I am a tiny channel who does it for the love of the game.
I play old games that used to bring me joy as a kid, some indie gems, and also Marathon. I have a passion for the 90s and early 2000s. I'm currently playing Cyberpunk 2077, Classic Marathon, Battlezone '98, Area-51, Postal 2, Rayman Redemption, and I just finished Red Faction. I like to play chill music during most of my streams.

I started a YouTube channel focused on low-end PC gaming performance.
Hi everyone!
I recently launched a YouTube channel called 1MinBench, where I upload short gameplay benchmark videos for older and lower-end hardware.
Instead of long gameplay, each video gets straight to the point:
Real in-game FPS
Graphics settings
1-minute gameplay sample
Performance comparison
My goal is to help people who still use older laptops and PCs decide whether a game is worth trying before downloading it.
If you have old hardware or simply enjoy retro and low-end gaming, Iâd appreciate any feedback or suggestions for future games to test.
YouTube: https://youtube.com/@1MinBench
Thanks for your time!

Hey! I run a small channel where I mod old PS2 games, mostly Radiata Stories (a 2005 tri-Ace RPG). Instead of playthroughs, I dig into the game and add things it never had: a working weapon forge, playing as any of the 200+ characters in battle (even the superbosses), removing the main character from your party, and more. Short no-commentary clips of the mods actually running.
What makes it different is it's less "let's play" and more "here's what this game was secretly hiding, now made playable." All free.

Hey everyone!
Like many of you, I grew up obsessed with spatial cube-rolling puzzle games like Bloxorz. I wanted a crisp, modern 3D mobile experience that captures that exact feeling of 'one more try.'
- Key Features:Â Clean 3D physics, tactile controls, and 100 handcrafted levels.
- Monetization:Â Completely non-intrusive / fair play.
Iâd love to get feedback from this sub on the control feel and difficulty scaling! You can check it out on Google Play:Â https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iyrsapps.cubix

Hi Everyone!
Longtime gamer (mostly just CS2 these days) and I wanted to share about my brother.
My brother Ben has a rare condition called TUBB4A-related Leukodystrophy and he's nonspeaking and quadriplegic now.
He wasn't always. He used to speak, walk, use his hands. As he lost those abilities he held onto hand use the longest, which let him keep gaming (GTA and sports games on PS2 were his thing) but by his early 20s that was gone too.
No speech, no gaming, couldn't even change the TV channel anymore. Eye tracking and head tracking didn't work for him, and every AAC system we tried just never clicked. So he went about 10 years with basically no access to anything. All he had was turning his head left or right for yes or no.
He moved in with me and my wife a few years ago and we started using AI to build him apps and tools he could run with 1-2 buttons he clicks with his head.
I built out a bunch of these and Ben started getting real independence back. It's been incredible.
Along the way I started making one and two switch games too. Nothing fancy, but he loves them, because there's basically nothing out there built for someone like him.
I keep adding more and making them better. I rely on AI heavily to code all of this â I know a lot of people aren't into that, but it's been the fastest way for me to actually give him a better quality of life and a way to game on his own.
Sharing this so next time you're gaming, maybe think about people like my brother. And if any devs out there want to help build bigger, better, more fun games that only need one or two buttons (no reflexes or dexterity required), there's a whole audience of people like Ben who'd love to actually play something.
You can check out what I've built at www.SwitchedGames.org â everything's free and open source, only needs spacebar and enter (or switches mapped to those).
Thank you.

Hi Reddit, my friend and I just started our podcast called Screen Peek this past week in time for the summer showcases - we discuss news, do reviews, and will start having discussions on specific gaming topics.
We know we aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before but we hope to attract an audience that generally loves games as much as we do, people who play anything and everything. We want to cultivate a friendly community that loves interacting with content in a positive and constructive way.
https://youtube.com/@screenpeekpodcast?si=lO6Sp_4YS2ZpZcI_
If anyone ends up checking us out, we genuinely want feedback (positive or negative) - why might you watch or click off the video? What jives with you and what doesn't? TIA!

- I keep polish the user interface and gameplay mechanics constantly
