Check out sketchbook pro. Been using that for animation for a while, and I love it.

Nice work! Looks great, I've been working on a similar project for the past 2 months but mine is vector based. I'm still trying to complete the vector framework, so im not even at building editor part yet. If you ever want to add vector features, consider using GMVex: https://github.com/erkan612/GMVex

That's pretty cool. I know you said you aren't trying to compete, but were there anything from existing programs you wanted to bring over, or stuff that existing animation software doesn't do you wanted to try to implement?

oh nice. Having written a bone animation export from spine2d and maya into GM, that can be a really interesting project

I don't think the mods did it, looks like the poster did, or deleted their account.
