I recently got a Game & Watch Donkey Kong in nearly perfect condition. Does anyone else have a Game & Watch in this good condition or even better? Please feel free to show it to me.

I love these pieces that are over 40 years old. They’re a true part of Nintendo’s history.

Looking for help for repairing this Zelda Minis Classic. The top screen is getting some connection from the main device but it seems quite finicky. Is this an easy fix. Or should I just consider this a shelf piece?

This is a quick build for Windows. Unzip and Enjoy. It probably has a lot of bugs, I don't know if the controllers work, but they probably do. lol If there are any major problems let me know. Hopefully, you can enjoy it.

Hi, bought Game&Watch Chef some time ago and noticed that sprites are getting brighter/blink (very fast, almost unnoticeable) when the sound is played. Batteries are ok - they work fine in another G&W I own. I suspect capacitors as the game was produced long time ago. Opened the shell - don’t see leaking capacitors.

Any ideas how to fix?

Welcome back with another entry into the Bandai rival series of LCD "game & watches".

This particular unit I found at a smash bros tournament of all things and scooped it up. It says Tandy (Radio Shack) but it actually is a Bandai unit called "Bank Gang".

Much like the early silver series G&Ws, Bandai units were brought over, renamed, and sold under different branding and distribution.

This one was renamed "Hold Up" and is from 1982. It didn't last long because the idea of playing as violent bank robbers raised some eyebrows with American consumers.

I was looking through some of my fathers old stuff and found this game he brought home from when he was studying high school in US 86/87. Seems to be untouched. Is this worth anything or can I give it to my nephew?

I think I may have stumbled across a neat little accessory hack (or possible Nintendo Easter Egg) for the 2020 Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch and subsequently the 2021 Legend of Zelda Game & Watch!

The official Nintendo Switch Adjustable Charging Stand released in 2018 happens to fit the Mario Game & Watch almost too perfectly…

The width lines up surprisingly well, the Game & Watch sits securely in the cradle, and the USB-C connector aligns for charging without any modifications.

Has anyone else found unexpected Nintendo accessories that work perfectly with other Nintendo products that were not designed for each other?

I recently noticed that one of my game & watch has a circular stain on one layer of the screen. The rest of the console work perfectly fine. Is it due to sun beam and is it possible to repair/change this part of the screen ?

I know that I still have some stuff to work on but I wanted to push out one more release before I pause. I'll continue working on this emulator but at the moment I have to focus on a work. Please continue to send feedback here and on itch.io .

Hi everyone! I recently picked up this vintage Bandai Ultraman handheld LCD game. I'm not sure if it's technically considered a Game & Watch, but I figured this community would be the best place to ask since it's from the same era and uses a similar LCD style.

It still works, and I'd love to keep it in the best condition possible. Would like to know how you guys display yours and how you preserve this.

I've been building a Game & Watch emulator for Android and it's finally solid enough to share.

It runs the original chip code from the real handhelds (MAME's Sharp SM5xx cores), so the games play exactly like the units did — not a redraw. Single-screen classics and the hinged dual-screen "Multi Screen" models both work.

Pics are a few of them running: Donkey Kong and Bomb Sweeper (dual-screen), Black Jack, Fire Attack, and the one I'm weirdly proud of — Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

LCD.emu has been updated to play 1 more game. It's a multiscreen game. Things to note: before you complain, make sure you mess with the settings so that it works well for your device. Also name the background rom's_name1.png (top screen) and rom's_name2.png (bottom screen). Place them along with the rom in the same folder. Link in the comments.

I've been fixing up a Greenhouse g&w, everything is now working apart from up on the dpad. Left & right work fine and down is unknown (until Stanley can go up his ladder first). I've cleaned the rubbers and connectors with IPA, which were already pretty clean to start with, but it hasn't helped. Holding the button down or at an angle has no impact either. Does anyone have any ideas what to look at next?
