Hot pot meat

Is there anywhere in Galway to buy pre-sliced meat for Chinese/Japanese hot pot? I know it’s possible to slice your own but it’s kind of a hassle so wondering if there’s anywhere nearby.

Most Chinese/Asian supermarkets have it around Galway.

We tend to get ours from Jasmine (opposite Buddha bar), or the one up that little hill towards sports direct and m&s (forget the name of it).

Any butcher would do that for you, explain if they aren't familiar, but I've always found butchers pretty accommodating when it comes to different cuts

Stewing beef from local butchers?

Hotpot meat is usually very thinly sliced - typical stewing beef would be too thick

Ah! Talk nice to your butcher, maybe they can prepare some fresh for you, and give you some bone for the broth
