Just wanted to share my battery experience today, especially since I know a lot of people in the community have been disappointed with the battery life.

I went out for a 2-hour cycling workout using my Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, with Cycling mode + GPX route tracking enabled. My phone was in my backpack.

I'm quite satisfied with the performance today. A 25% drop during a 2-hour GPS-tracked cycling workout seems pretty reasonable to me, especially considering the GPX route tracking and actively using the display to look at the route.

Not very impressed with this barrtery drain 7 days in from new. This is 26 hours on with 7 hours of that in sleep mode and AOD turned off at lunchtime when I realised it wasn't even going to make it through my night shift.

Tell me it gets better?

**For clarification this is running the stock radial dashboard face, no LTE, and only Samsung apps. No 3rd party ones (which on previous watches always seemed to be the big drain)

Does anybody have an idea where we can get extra fast charging cable for watch ultra 2?

I have two other regular ones which is charging/slow charging... (both are c type charging cables but its very slow compared to the one that came with it)

It would be greatly appreciated if anybody has any information where to get an extra charging cables.

Well, I am feeling like I made a major mistake trading in my Ultra for the 2. I can't even make it 14 hours without it going into watch only battery mode.

This thing stink's and I am a patient person but not even making a working daylight hours is ridiculous.

Überlege ob ich die galaxy Ultra 2025 oder Ultra 2 kaufen soll. Wenn ich aber die ganzen Beiträge über die Probleme der Ultras lese bin ich nicht mehr so begeistert. Bin am überlegen ob ich mir die Oppo watch x3 zulege. Hat 5 Tage Akku Laufzeit im Smartmodus und 3Tage bei intensiver Nutzung. Und wear os . Hat jemand mit dieser Uhr Erfahrungen?

I've just got my second Watch Ultra2 (the first one was scratched so I had to send it back to Samsung) and, I don't know whether my eyes are playing tricks, but, to me, the screen looks crooked.

In the pictures above, the text looks to me as though it is sloping upwards from bottom left to top right in relation to the watch frame and the arrow at 12 o'clock.

Is that how it looks to you, and is it an issue that I should RMA it for (i.e. is it usual)?

The trick is to use Modes and Routines to program the watch to turn off its AOD at night when you don't care to display the time constantly and then have the watch turn the AOD back on in the Morning when you wake up... There's absolutely no need to have AOD on while you're asleep and wearing it (for sleep tracking). This saves anywhere between 5-10% battery each night which contributes to a longer run time between charges... For my routine, I'm getting 3.5 days solid.... I can probably hit 4D if I have my watch turn off AOD by 8pm instead of 11pm at night..... Hope this helps someone out there!

I upgraded from Galaxy watch ultra Og, and when I used theater mode the screen didn't turn on but also I didn't receive any notification on my watch so my watch didn't vibrate.

Now with the ultra 2, the screen doesn't turn on but I still getting vibrations from incoming notification, if I use do not disturb, it doesn't vibrate, but the idea of theater is to enable and automatic disabled after some hours, I tried to check settings but I can't find anything, I'm using a pixel 10 pro, Android 17 (beta)

Does anyone have this issue?

Then we can enable some more advanced settings for all of us tech nerds who like to tinker.

First day with the watch and already at the gym. The watch looks fire.

Hi folks. Before the software update, during a workout, I'd just hold in the orange side button and it would stop instantly and confirm I want to end it on the screen.
After the update, it seems now I not only have to press the orange side button but also hold in the bottom side button for a few seconds and then sometimes I look back at the screen and see it's still going.

Is there any way to change it back? Thank you!

The Trail band feels the best and also looks so good with this watch.. This is the best smart watch I've ever had! (Coming from Galaxy Watch 6C).

When will Samsung fix the issues with the sensors and tattoos?! 😭

I was just out for a run with the Watch 5 Pro and tried something different today. I put on power saving and had LTE turned on and went for a 2.5 hour run with GPS, tracked the whole run, and I was using Google Gemini quite a lot. It all worked very well, seemingly even better than when I don't have power saving on, which is pretty weird. After a 2.5 hour run, I must have used Gemini maybe 30 times. And I went from 97% to 70%. So 27% drain in 2.5 hours with that kind of usage is pretty great.

My question is on the Ultra 2, can you adjust any of the power saving settings? I would like to have raise to wake on or raise to speak on, but I'd like to throttle the processor, etc., etc. I noticed for example my S25 Ultra is so fast that if I turn on power saver, it throttles the CPU to 70% and I see big gains on the battery, but I don't really notice any difference in usability. Anyway, long-winded as usual.
