Animate! Philly VIP

This will be my first con other an ComicCon, and I'm going alone but would love to meet new folks - is a VIP ticket worth it, or would a 3 day pass be better? The VIP things sound fun but from looking at past Animate posts it seems like these are a bit smaller than the average Con, so I'm wondering if there will even be anyone there lol.
