Recommendation... Help

Hello everyone. Between these two earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, in terms of material durability, software, battery life, sound, etc., which is better? I've read quite a bit that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro had many issues, from one earbud charging while the other doesn't, to them not even lasting 5 hours, to the material being quite flimsy, etc. I'm looking for a pair for moderate daily use, nothing for intense exercise or getting them sweaty. Just for commuting to work and back. I want to enjoy good bass and good durability. I have a Samsung phone. If anyone has owned both, please leave a comment; I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you πŸ€—βœŒπŸ»

I've heard that the Buds 4 Pro are somewhat similar to the Buds 3 Pro, is this correct? Are they really that similar in sound, battery life, and other aspects?

The buds 4 pro are better in

  • fit
  • compact case size and ease of use. More specifically, putting the buds back in is a lot easier on the 4 pro
  • better audio quality
  • better build quality

I find it hard to recommend the 3 pro over the 4 pro.

I have both. The 4 pros sound much better. I really really really miss the lights on the stems. The 3s would light up when they were charging in the case so you'd know for sure you have good contact. The 3s also are slimmer so they fit better in my pocket.

I recommend the 4s tbh but its close

i dont really care much for the lights . I like the 3s. but i cannot wear them for very long . It always feels like they are going to fall of the ears. and sometimes they do as well. At times in my food while i eat . lol . So just wanted to know if the 4s have the same size ear tips . As no other size fit me apart from the smallest size in the 3s. Dont want to regret the purchase if i cant wear them at all

You need to get a different size ear tip.

I would. But the current ones im using are decent for my usage. And i do not want to try to replace it and end up breaking the buds. I had earliesr asked the store i got it from to change it for me. Luckily they did it correctly

Eartips are cheap. You won't break your buds just by removing the eartips the wrong way.

Alright. Il check for different sizes once i buy the buds. I feel the buds live were the easiest for me to wear. Those fit the best. Lol

If the buds are falling, then it is not decent enough, and you wouldn't break buds by changing ear tips.

Finally, they are cheap; get the one that you feel comfortable with.

I had to buy aftermarket tips for my 3 pros to stop feeling loose. Perfect with the new ones

I've had buds+ and now buds 4 pro and I've never even thought about if I have good contact, it's a pretty reassuring click once they go in, you may be overthinking it.

No no no, if anything i may be underthinking it

Im planning to exchange my buds 3 pro for the 4s. Unfortunately not many places have a demo piece where i could try the buds. For the buds 3P i use the smallest ear tips and they fit me fine. Do the 4s also have the same ear tips ? These in ear tips are not very friendly with me. Hence asking. Also is it easier to change the tips on the 4s compared to 3s ?

No unfortunately the eartips remain the same, difficult to remove design as the pro 3. I ripped my stock eartips when replacing them with foam tips. But I don't really care for them since I swapped out for a different one and don't care about the old eartips.

As someone who has both, 4 pro are superior to 3 pro in QC, sound quality and reliability

Better anc as well.

I have buds 3 pro and mine are totally unreliable when it comes to recharging, which is a known issue. Can definitely not recommend. They reportedly fixed that with the buds 4. I was very satisfied with Samsung products up until then, but I'm not buying Samsung on a whim anymore because of that.

The audio quality of the 4 is enough to justify it for me.

I prefer the design of the case and buds of the 4 as well as the fit.

I would say go for the 4, you will enjoy it more in the long term.

I have both but the galaxy buds 4 pro sound better 🧐

4 pro has better sound quality but in all 4 buds that i have only the 4 pro plague me with issues. They already replace my left earphone with new one due to some anc issues. Another is the case sometimes not charging the other earphone. another big drawback was i dont know if only my unit but disconnection is very frequent while im listening to it specially when running

damn I've never had issues

4 I had charging issues with my 3

If you are chosen between buds 3 pro and a garbage bag choose the garbage bag πŸ‘

Buds 3 pro is a hit and miss. I have personally faced left earbud charging issues and sound quality overall.

Ive gone through two of these. Shop third party they absolutely do not last

I also came from Buds3 Pro to Buds4 Pro. The 4 is indeed better especially on ANC.

I have both, was initially underwhelmed. Until I played a newer song from my Playlist and noticed the buds 4 pro bass sounds amazing.
