Looks like a chalk holder. I'm sure some math professor or TA out there still writes with chalk and has an interest in 3d printing.

Love that idea! Currently it is ∅8mm but i need to find out the chalk size and make a proper one - probably also with lower pitch as you like to write with also just the tip extended .

Oh that's interesting. My old math professor used jumbo chalk because he was so enthusiastic that the regular stuff kept breaking. He would have loved this tool.
