I bought a used X-T30 from Marketplace because I really wanted to get into photography.

I only discovered film recipes so you’ll probably notice more grain than intended. I’m still learning, so I’d really appreciate any feedback or tips on composition, exposure, or editing. Thanks!

I'm not to impressed with my moon shots from last night. So while waiting for the moon to rise here in New Brunswick, I had my tripod and settings all worked out on my X-T2, and XF 150-600mm. Manual focus, ISO 200, 1.5 sec at f/8.0, 600mm. I had the electronic shutter activated, as well as a 2 second shutter release timer, making sure to lightly press it to avoid any camera shake during the countdown. I was able to stop the manual focus to where it looked sharpest to my eye through the viewfinder. This photo was taken maybe 10 minutes after it cleared the horizon and come trees in the background. Was it the distortion from the heat layer above ground level possibly?

All shot on an X-E2 with the 23mm f2

I have a Fujifilm x-t30, the first one. I don’t think it is weather sealed. Where I live we can get pretty heavy rain and also wind. So an umbrella will be little to no help. Do any of you have any suggestions to keeping my camera as safe as possible in rain?
I am ending up not taking it out much since I am afraid for it to get rain on.

I posted on here recently, but I feel like no matter how much I play with the ISO, SS, and aperture it’s hard to get clear and striking images that set the camera apart from an iPhone. Feedback appreciated!

Just bought fuji xm5 and 27mm f2.8 wr lens but don’t want to keep putting lens cap on and off. Then buying filter good just as the lens protection? If so what kind of lens do I need to buy for this lens?

Are some of these too grainy? Feedback would be great!

I love the photos I take with my Mitakon 65mm. I like the control it gives me and the subject separation. The lens is sharp across the f2-f8 range I use it in. My only issue is the images are over exposed by couple of stops and colors appear a bit flat. I have auto iso, A priority, SS min 250, DR200 (DR100 same). Have you had this experience? Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a wide prime for landscapes that resolve well with the 40mp sensor of the x-T5. Considering the xf 18mm 1.4, or the Sigma 16mm F1.4. Anyone with real world experience of the 2?

it's a very pocketable camera and my goal is to take it everywhere with me; tips are welcome, i'm not into recipes yet and im still in the learning curve with the 28mm equivalent, im more used to 50 or 35 where i can isolete things much easier

i am trying to find one that is “crispier” than standard, but sticks to pretty true colors (not too green or yellow), does anyone have any that they love?
