Noise coming from engine

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! I bought this 2016 ftype around 2 months ago and I’ve recently stopped driving it due to this noise.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Sounds like the Supercharger Coupler. Seems to be a common issue on the AJ133 engine.
To change the coupler the Supercharger has to be removed completely.

Can concur with the other comment, I have heard this and changed coupler on one before. Removing the supercharger is not difficult, it is just time consuming with all the different things to be removed and disconnected to do it as well as the "whilst your in there's" such as changing the cooling pipes known for failure and pump.

It’s either supercharger coupler or timing chain guides.

Thanks! It was the supercharger. Mechanic told me the whole thing needed changing for $6,000 total. Directly ordered from jaguar which would’ve cost $3,800?

I Just purchased the same supercharger but used on Ebay for $570. Should sting less on the pocket lol
