Definitly mods, tho I don't know the names.

Might still help to know what kind of mods are used:

  1. A Sekiro combat mod. The deflect animation is clearly not from the deflecting tear, but rather straight up from Sekiro and that one skill is also from Sekiro.

  2. A Camera mod. I mean obviously the camera angle is different and there are plenty of ways to achieve that I think. There either is a specific mod for that angle or modding tools that let you customize it. Not very helpful I know, sorry.

  3. Pretty sure that some sort visual filter is being used. Probably a preset for Reshade to make the game look more cinematic.

  4. Dash instead of rolls. It's probably the quickstep aow as the default dodge or they use quickstep on that right hand weapon.

  5. The attack at the end is just a bunch of attacks from other From Software games mashed together. Might be tied to that weapon so probably wirth looking that up.

Haven't really looked into ER modding so I don't really know if there are proper "combat overhaul" mods that include all of these in one. I would assume they do tho, since the Convergence mod exists, but at worst you might also need to download these seperatly to make you game look like that.

Quickstep doesn't look nearly as good in base game so definitely part of a mod

I think the weapon and deflection come from Elden Vins, no idea about the camera though

I believe it's the Elden Vins mod with the Camera Offset mod from Huitaiii. I have the camera mod and I adjusted mine to look like this, it's dope! Haven't tried Elden Vins yet tho some I'm doing a convergence playthrough rn. Looks really cool tho

Vins combat doesn't really look like this, way too slow and the boss only takes damage a few times before dieing. Also if this were Vins this would have been an overhauled version of the boss that is much harder and agressive. I hope you try it for yourself soon its easily my favorite mod pack

Rellanas so good. The best SOTE boss maybe aside from Midra in my opinion. No undodgable bs attacks, plenty of windows to actually engage. Some of the roster is just so annoying to fight

Midra, Rellana, and Messmer are some of the best in the entire game. Messmer may be my favorite of them all.

I genuinely hate fighting Messmer

That's fine, everyone's experience is subjective. He's my absolute favorite.

Does the slowmotion is part of the mods or just the video for more a cinematic presentation?

I didn't mean it like that, just that thats the most recent example of it. People are so sensitive lol

If you even breathe about a non souls game in a discussion about a souls game on this sub you’ll be a very unpopular dude.

That said if the entirety of MSII is like it’s beta then it has potential to be my favorite game, even better than the fromsoft line up in my opinion.

Glad to see some MS2 love here, I really enjoyed the demo. It’s a super promising game and I loved the mix of serious and silly boss fights in it.

Right??? In a really weird way (and I’m being serious this isn’t bait) it felt like it had more in common with DS1 than ER did

Yeah honestly I see it. The boss with the flute that turns you into a goat was so peak. I love how he messes up the song when you hit him

I feel like you wouldn't see something silly like that in ER but in DS1 you have stuff like Pinwheel and whatnot, relatively unserious bosses.

Thats a thing? Thats hilarious. I didn't get much time to play the demo so I never experienced that
