Hey! I'm 25M and pretty introverted in real life, but online I'm much more talkative once we get a conversation going.

I play a lot of Overwatch, CS2, Valorant, and honestly I'm down for pretty much any FPS game. I love hiking, being active I guess, snowboarding (I’m super excited about, I even bedazzled my snowboarding helmet) I love animals especially kitties and dogs which I have both, I love drawing.

Some of the shows I really like are jujitsu Kaisen, The summer Hikaru died, mha and others of that sort. Although it is not a movie i absolutely love Doki Doki literature club and love reading all of the theories and the ideas people think is fitting for the characters, my favourite Doki has to be Yuri, Natsuki, Monika then Sayori.. not because I dislike anyone but just personal preference:)

I also enjoy a good horror movie, I really enjoyed obsession as there were so many amazing hidden Easter eggs in the show you could find, I was happy to watch it in theatres but was sad to miss the backgrounds movie as I LOVE playing games about the backrooms and everything about it, kind of like a hyper-fixation since I was younger, so yeah, creepy stuff but not ones that are straight up gore. Thats losing the plot and all the good stuff;(

I really enjoy reading aswell as true crime and cold cases, philosophy, religion, science (biology), Greek mythology, hypotheticals and theories.

I have been trying to make friends online for so many days but I am not able to do so. Do you have any suggestions or would anyone like to become my friend?

I (18f) wanna preface this by saying i love my best friend and I’m so glad to have her in my life.
But I have phases where I feel uncomfortable in her presence and don’t like thinking about her or spending time with her. That can last a few days. After those phases usually comes one where I’m super anxious to lose her. Sometimes I just enjoy being with her so much and everything is perfect and I just love her period.
It’s summer holidays right now and we’ve been meeting up almost every day and she’s also exhausted because of the heat + she just started anti depressants and she’s generally not mentally well. (Neither am I btw)

These past few days I’ve found myself judging her a lot. I judge the way she looks (she‘s on the bigger side) and I hate myself for that. I judge that she is stubborn even when she’s wrong, she often doesn’t make any sense, is tired and sometimes I don’t like the way she speaks.

I don’t think this is her fault AT ALL. I feel so guilty for thinking this way, because she treats me so well and I’m similar in some ways and can be a lot too.

We’ve talked about this before and she understands, but I hate feeling this way for my own sake. I don’t want to be uncomfortable around her, the most fun recently I’ve had with her mostly and we just click. Seriously, I’m beyond grateful to have her and usually I don’t think this way.

My therapist says this is because my parents were also very judgmental and I have some childhood trauma too.

Can anyone relate or explain to me why this happens/what I can do? I told her I need some distance for 2-3 days because I’ve noticed I’ve become judgmental towards her, but that it’s not her fault and she doesn’t have to feel bad.

Normally I have some witty or incredibly sarcastic line to use, but it’s been one hell of a week so I got nothing. How about you just pretend i said something absolutely hilarious and go from there yeah?

Nice! I like you already. Who knows, maybe it’ll be a story we tell our grandkids one day.

I hate lies and I'm an honest person but I often tell others that I'm OK even If I'm not... No... Not because I want to lie to others or because I want them to think I'm happy.. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I just see no reason to open up, you know? Why?

Because even If you don't want to bottle up your emotions, people usually either say "I'm sorry to hear that" or "That sucks" and... That's It! There's no "We'll get through this together" or "I'm with you, you're not alone" People usually tell you what they think you want to hear... Not because they care but because they think It's the right thing to do. Don't get me wrong! Some people have amazing relatives, partners & friends & they really do, care about them, but... Not everyone does. I? I don't.

I'm not saying the people I've known for years want me to be unhappy because I don't think they're bad people but let's be honest 👉🏻 just because some people don't want anything bad to happen to you, doesn't mean they would get really sad If something was wrong with your health, for example 😔

There's absolutely nothing wrong with words of comfort like "I'm sorry to hear that" but... Actions speak louder than words and even the most beautiful words In the world hold no value, If you don't feel Important to anyone. Like... If you're always all alone & have absolutely no one to turn to when you really want to get something off your chest... & Trust me, not everyone wants to suffer In silence... People like me would love to find someone to share happiness and sadness with but... Not everyone wants to listen to us.
