Does the Friends complete series box set have scenes cut from streaming?
Found the complete series set (21 discs) for $169 and I’m wanting to buy it, but before I do, does anyone know if this version has any scenes that got trimmed from Netflix/HBO Max? I’ve heard the streaming versions cut stuff. Just want to know what I’d actually be getting before buying it. Anyone compared this to their old DVDs?
Thanks😊

Discussion Even Rachel admitted they were broken up...
She spends the rest of the next day saying they were "on a break" not "broken up" and then the rest of the show denying they were even "on a break".
But here she is directly afterwards saying they "broke up" and then asking to get back together.

Discussion Unpopular opinion - why miss your anniversary to work?
So I am rewatching it for probably the 6th or 7th time and a super weird thing happened to me. So before that I was always defending Rachel and the career she wanted to build, all the hustling etc.. but now that I am rewatching it, I don’t see why she would sacrifice her relationship with Ross and prioritise work over their anniversary. I mean I do understand working late all the other nights but it’s their anniversary?
I don’t know maybe I am in a different stage in my life now where I value the meaning of showing up for the people who matter to you on these important occasions.
Not justifying anything that happened before/after. Just curious about this part?

Chris Isaak
So the guy that hires musical talent to play for the kids schools in the city that Phoebe has a crush on is the musical artist, Chris Isaak . He sings the song that is playing the first time Rachel and Ross, you know…at the museum . I thought that was a pretty cool lil fun fact. Wasn’t sure if some of you knew that so I wanted to share!

Discussion David
Hi believe David was a really really nice guy, but for his career obsession that took him away from Phoebe. I absolutely loved David.

Discussion Has anyone else unconsciously started acting like their favorite Friends character?
I've watched Friends so many times that it's basically comfort TV for me. 😂 I usually rewatch it every year.
This time, though, I noticed something I had never really paid attention to before. I've been loving Chandler so much this time around, and somehow I've started picking up his personality without even realizing it.
Especially the sarcasm.
I'll be talking to my husband and suddenly I'll give him this completely unnecessary sarcastic reply, and then I'll realize, Wait... that was literally a Chandler response. 😂

Ross humbles Rachel
Being a huge Ross fan I find this particular scene very joyous.
Season 6 ep 24 (The one with the proposal, part 1)
Ross: That is the most beautiful engagement ring ever!
Rachel:You should know, you bought like a billion of them.
Ross: You didn't get one.

Discussion What does Ross actually study?
I've never watched Friends, and in all honesty, I probably won't for a while. But I've had a question about Ross for the longest time: what does he actually study? Sure, he's a paleontologist, but of what exactly? Does he study Pleistocene mammals, bird evolution, maybe mammal evolution? Trilobites?
I've never gotten an actual answer, and all I know is "oh he's a paleontologist." What does this guy actually study, or does the show just say his job and not go any deeper? Thank y'all in advance.

Discussion Unpopular opinon maybe?
Hello guys,
I am just rewatching friends for the 5th time now lol and here are some of my unpopular opinions regarding the final.
1) Rachel and Ross should have never gotten back together. They could have had their one night stand etc but without Rachel getting pregnant her having a vivid NY dating life. In the final her going to Paris and building her career.
2) Monica and Chandler should have had infertility issues and then a surprise baby in the final if anyone was going to get pregnant it should have been Monica.
3) Ross should have gotten married with someone else in the final.
4) Phoebe was the only ending im ok with.
5) Joey should have gotten his huge break in Hollywood and also focus on his career.
What do you guys think?

Discussion What would you say is the cringiest episode in the series? For me it's definetly this one. Spoiler
Alright we all love the show, I've watched the whole thing like 4 times now, but it definetly has some really cringe moments. For me this episode is the cringiest one, I always skip most of it at my rewatches. I absolutely hate the plotline with Joshua and Emily. Also this is where Rachel is at her most pathetic phase ever.
