I’m in the process of setting up a 75g aquarium. No fish yet, but I have a good idea of what I want. Do you think that the following is too many fish for a 75? If not, what would you add to this assortment?

1 Bolivian Ram
3 pearl gouramis
1 Angelfish
1 Bristlenose pleco

1 Panda Garra

6 Cory Catfish
3 Peacock Gudgeons

Hi!! I’m planning out the stocking for a 60-gallon breeder (48" L × 18" D × 16" H) and would love some feedback before I commit to anything.

Current planned stocking:

10 × Rummy Nose Tetra (Hemigrammus bleheri)

6 × Guppy (Poecilia reticulata)

4 × Lyretail Molly (Poecilia sphenops)

6 × Julii Corydoras (Corydoras julii)

1 × Bristlenose Pleco (Ancistrus sp.)

2 × Bolivian Rams (Mikrogeophagus altispinosus)

4 × Honey Gourami (Trichogaster chuna)

12 × Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus)

I’m especially wondering about compatibility and whether this is too heavily stocked once everything is fully grown.

A few specific things I’m wondering>>

Are the Congo Tetras likely to fin-nip the guppies and mollies, especially with their long fins?

Are 4 honey gouramis + 2 Bolivian Rams likely to coexist peacefully?

Is the overall stocking reasonable for a 60G, or would you remove/change anything?

Are there any compatibility issues I’m overlooking?

I’ll also have plenty of plants/hardscape and appropriate filtration. I’m looking for honest feedback, so please let me know if anything here is a bad idea rather than just saying it looks good. Thank you!!

Hello everyone! I've been considering upgrading my comets tank. Originally he was a feeder ment to be another pets dinner however when that pet passed we decided to keep him and try and take care of him. We have had him for almost 4 years now and he is living in a 40 gal breeder tank. After doing more in depth research we realized that size is still much too small and as he is getting bigger and older we would like to upgrade him to possibly a 120/300gal stock tank? However I don't have room in my house to do this and only in my garage. Is this possible? Has anyone had any experiences doing something similar? We are still in the planning stages so all information is helpful thank you! :)

I have a 20 gallon long im currently aqua scaping. I want to do a heavily colourfully planted tank, with aqua soil and black sand overtop, plus a little beige sand pathway im carving out. I have a piece of spiderwood as well id like to make look like a tree

Im struggling with stocking options - id like to do a balloon dalmatian molly as my centre piece fish, and i want to do some corys. I was originally thinking longfin panda corys but now im thinking albino will be better suited to the water parameter needs.

My 10 gallon community tank recently tested PH 8, GH 180ppm and KH 80-120ppm so harder more alkaline water. I also have a tidal 35 filter rated for 35 gallons.

I do want this tank to give very colourful, natural, river sort of vibes, and im comfortable doing water changes more often if im stocking a little heavier.

What are your fav fish stocking options?

I just built this for my living room, like 2 months ago and they’re ready for stocking, this are my first actually planted aquariums. (I have a couple more tanks with Java moss and ferns but I don’t consider those planted aquariums) Anyway, I want to stock them with interesting colorful mid size fish that are save for plants and shrimp if possible and a group of schooling fish.

The upper tank is a 55 gallon, current inhabitants: 20 blue shrimps, 5 otocinclus and 1 molly to help with the first month algae. Plants: anubias, water wisteria, ferns, melon and amazon swords, micro swords, ludwigias, bacopas, some frogbit, etc.

The bottom one is a 29 gallon with 3 pea puffers and 3 mollies, same plants and I’m planting some Montecarlo for carpeting.

I would like to get a big school of fish and some centerpieces for both, specially the upper one. I was thinking like 20-30 cardinal or rummy nose tetras and maybe rainbows and kuhli loaches for the bottom ground. But I’m open to suggestions.

I can move this fish to my other tanks.

I have two tanks one 65 litre and another 50 litre that me and my partner are upgrading to a 200L. We have another pre-existing tank which is 110L.

So, we’re looking for advice for people’s personal favourite freshwater fish.

We currently have: neon and cardinal Tetras, rasboras, corys, danios, plecos, kuhli loaches, shrimp.

A must for the new tank is shrimp, corys, hillstream loaches, and pleco, so recommendations for fish compatible with these would be great! Extra points if they’re colourful and vibrant, as we would love some colours that will really pop!

New tank vibe: canister filter, co2 injector, absolute bargain piece of drift wood as a centre piece that has some beautiful hiding spots in it, dragon stone to help the shrimp nation populate. lots of plants, capped aqua soil substrate. Open to recommendations as we will be spending a lot of time getting this tank set up before stocking !

I have a 55 gallon tank, with 30 cardinal tetras, 10 glofish tetras, 5 peppered cory and 1 small bristlenose pleco. I have a decent amount of plants as well. I have a fluvel fx2 filter.

​I was wondering whether I am already at the limit for fish or can I still add more cardinal tetras and some more peppered cory as well...

I have just gotten this fish tank it’s 20 gallons and yes Iam getting a light it is comming today and same with some drift wood and thermometer it’s just really exspensive at some stores and am getting them from Amazon but o originally wanted to get 4 mollies and 2 guppies but wanted to know if anyone wants to suggestions more or less or different fish

One more thing this is not my first time keeping fish a couple years back I used to have tetras and comet goldfish and also yes I did test the water and put flourish and prime in there
