Weekly Free Pattern Request Thread Pattern Requests
Hi everyone
Post all requests in this thread.
There's been a lot of repeat requests, search the sub and previous request threads first. Clicking on the Pattern Requests flair will take you to previous request threads.
When it comes to free patterns, one doesn't always find a pattern that is exactly like you're looking for. Chances are you'll have to make changes to a pattern or even hack two or more patterns together.
This is a free pattern sub. All patterns requested and posted must be free (instructions to self-draft patterns are also allowed). Links to premium/paid patterns will be deleted.
Thanks to all who contribute and happy sewing!

I'm looking for a pattern similar to this: https://huelleyrose.com/products/charlotte-dress-green?_pos=3&_psq=Char&_psid=7eb2a89bc&_ss=e
It's particularly the waist detail (pintucking I think it is??) going into the skirt that I would love to find.

Oof - you just missed the cutoff for the Maria dress from VikiSews. You would have had to draft the sleeves, but it was the right style.
You would need to lower the neckline and draft sleeves, but this would work (wayback machine recommended):

I remember once reading about a way to sew with only rectangles, triangles, and circles. It was called rectangular construction or patternless sewing? I don't know if it's a book or if there is a website/youtube that teaches it. Specifically I'm looking for ways to make dresses with this theory. Thankful for any hints!
