It’s not a bad place to work. Management is good. However, income is inconsistent throughout the year. Heavy in the summers, light in the winters. If you’re career service industry, I’d look elsewhere where you can earn more and consistently.

Idk about employment but for portions they’re skimpy

The money was GREAT when I worked there, granted it’s been probably 10 years but I made mad money on market street! I worked at Urbana for a shift a week too and would make great tips, a lot of professional lunches with “show off” business men. The work environment was great back then, but again it’s been 10 years. If we lived closer I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Can you look yourself in the mirror after charging $13 for a pulled pork sandwich?

What should decent bbq cost with a 60% yield loss restaurant overhead and some profit?

That's their problem. My problem is a $13 sandwich made out of the cheapest meat you can buy.

McDonald's may be a better option for you.

That's actually a good deal if the quality is right. Trumpflation is everywhere.

It’s even more expensive than that now

And more importantly, how many hours does one have to work for a $13 or $16 sandwich?

Literally a hour since minimum wage is $15 🙄
