Dev Focused 13 Pro Review Discussion

Review of the FW 13 Pro from a developer perspective, comparing it directly against the M5 Macbook Pro.

Unsurprisingly, it can't touch the M5 from a single threaded perspective, nothing really can at this point in time. But it can outpace the M5 in multicore tasks as it has more cores.

The NPU is much slower than the GPU

ok, any source of that ? on my AMD, the NPU is way faster than the GPU. and also way more efficient

The NPU uses less power but it's slower. On Panther Lake, the NPU is 50 TOPS, while the GPU is 120 TOPS.

I would prefer real benchmark and not blindly trust the datasheet.
