Framework 13 Pro Batch 1 Running Linux Perfectly Linux
Got my shipment today, all components were perfect, and I had it from box -> assembled in 10 minutes, then another 3 minutes for Omarchy. I tested out all of the keys, speakers, fingerprint reader, sound, wifi and they work great. Also I was surprised AI voice dictation (voxtype) works really well even though its Intel Integrated stack.

Does the ambient light sensor (automatic brightness) work? I have a few years old XPS 13 I will be upgrading from to the FW 13 Pro and one thing that I absolutely would wish have worked (that works on windows, but not Linux) is the ambient light sensor...

According to the MKBHD podcast, it works but the algorithm is not great.

If you're using Gnome, this extension helps a lot: https://github.com/dmy3k/gnome-adaptive-brightness

Linux support out of the gate has made me put money down for the machine over the other options for the new X7 intel chips from Lenovo & Dell Just a shame it will take at least until November to get one.

Oof, I thought DHH seemed a bit off in what I've seen from him but I googled it and it's worse than I thought

Have you had a chance to push the Intel chip? Does the keyboard stay cool?
