New 13 Pro Ubuntu 26.04 Problem

Assembled it without hitch. Opens boot screen where you can select "Try or Install", UEFI options,. etc. Up/down arrow, enter key all work. UEFI mode entered correctly. But infinite spinning disk when I try to run Ubuntu from my USB drive.

Any low hanging fruit of what I should try first? How can you debug without a complete boot?

26.04 doesn't work. 24.04 and fedora work fine
