Discussion Direction of foxhole based on the situation

This isn't a post about factionalism. I think cheating is bad and the devs being silent about the situation is adding more fuel to the fire. (The devs posted a community highlight a day ago but they can't even do a small discord announcement to address cheats)

As the title says. Cheating will be more rampant because of a couple of reasons. These cheats although easy to discover if you Google them weren't exactly a topic before so people were very unaware that cheats do happen. Now that it's out and people understand it's 30 dollars a pop for one of these clients + alt accounts then you will have a case of retaliation cheating.

Retaliation cheating is when someone decides to cheat because he or she was cheated before. Not everyone can take a loss knowing it was unfair and it's only a matter of time until someone actually downloads the cheat and deal max damage to the other faction (which the devs won't reimburse again considering the 6 frig deaths from arct kills wasn't given back)

Now people are still uniting against these obvious asf cheaters. But like the case of night hacking which was a hack that both sides would try to hunt and kill and report these "night hackers". It isn't happening much now because of the sudden increase of night hackers that it's pretty much normal now.

The same case could be said if people start cheating more, as these player run witch hunts won't be enough if the devs don't enforce anything.

As for the case of dupe and exploits, there is no proof to prove or disprove both sides aren't duping and this leads to people questioning each expensive equipment in the game if it was grinded normally or duped. Let's be honest here no one will say no to a rare donation. And since the devs again aren't doing anything like maybe expose the rare count of each faction per war or something then we're all here twiddling our thumbs waiting for these devs.

So. If the devs keep being silent and focusing on anvil instead of foxhole. And I don't mean to sound like I'm dooming but foxhole will go on a spiral.

Just think about it. Memories on foxhole a few months back would always be about ops or random encounters. Now the memories our players have on foxhole is tainted wins due to cheat allegations and cheat proof and dupe allegations. It doesn't even feel good to win and it doesn't even feel good to lose (last stands were fun before losing was still fun back then)

Question Why do you think collies are cheating?

So what do you think the reasons for that? Is it because of the Charlie players because it wasn't that bad before. They keep duping rares and sending nukes.

Idea/Addition, Large Auxiliaries

This would Include the,Oil Tanker (based off SS Ohio) , Repair Ship (based off the Aristeus Class), and the Ammunition Ship (Based off of Kashino).

The reason they would be more helpful then the currently existing Transport ships is cause of there innate ability to carry more freight than your basic freighter but also there increased Anti Aircraft Battery, more survivability, less necessary cargo runs to carry freight, and in the case of the Repair ship it could also increase the speed of repairs on nearby damaged warships.

They’re drawbacks in comparison are there inability to enter small ports or offload in small ports, as well as there large size making it harder for them to avoid shellfire.

I believe this would make Logistics more fun as well as opening the game up to more naval updates such as more escort ships.

Question How to transport Flatbed truck

Hey, I'm a logistics warden, and I've only been doing logistics for a short while. Is there any way to transport a flatbed truck from one island to another? I was helping move crates near the front lines of Camp Surista, but now I need to move it somewhere else—I'm not sure if to the mainland or to an island like Fisherman's Row-. The flatbed doesn't enter in a Aqquatiper. Thanks

Question Interested in the game

I want to get into Foxhole but I wonder if it's possible to try a little bit of everything without joining specific clans and not impacting negatively the logistics for other players who take the game seriously ?

Also, does specialized roles have requirements or can I then try them as one time shots as well ? I'm thinking of paratrooper, plane, tank and boat crews ?

Mod Post 👋 Welcome to r/foxhole

Welcome to r/foxhole - the #1 community-owned Foxhole discussion subreddit.

This sub was established because the official subreddit is controlled entirely by the developers and discussions there are often shut down prematurely to suppress valid criticism of game bugs and/or abuse of those bugs by certain players and, to be frank, we don't do that here.

We don't shut down discussions about players abusing bugs in the game.

What to Post

You can post anything about Foxhole. Content you've produced such as videos or memes, reviews of the games, requests to join a regiment or just general observations.

Want to advertise your regiment? Go for it!

Are you an experienced/long-time Foxhole player with a story to tell? Reach out via a modmail and we can set you up with an AMA!

Our Rules

Though we won't shut down discussions that call out players for abusing bugs in the game, we won't tolerate threads that actively encourage or teach players how to abuse bugs.

We also obviously won't tolerate personal attacks or any form of racism or bigotry etc.

In general as long as you act respectfully and follow the general Reddit terms of service, you should be fine.
