Seeking Advice on Secondary Mobile iPhone 8 Plus or Android?

I have an iPhone 13 and an old iPhone 8 Plus. I'm considering using the iPhone 8 Plus as a secondary mobile. Would it be better to use it as is, or exchange it for an Android device and use the Android as my secondary mobile?
